Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The day was cold and windy. It even looked like it was going to rain, oh well. That wasn't going to stop Damitrius from spending at least an hour outside. It was boring inside and she hated being bored, so the best thing to do was go outside, and maybe sing. Like she was now. Mitri always sang, where ever she went Mitri always had to sing something. It was just the way she was.

"How you choose to express yourself it's all your own and I can tell it comes naturally... It comes naturally.."

She sang, as she walked out of the castle and walked toward the lake. The wind hit her face lightly as she continued to walk, and her hair flew up for a moment before it flowed down her back. She took a deep breath, inhaling the natural air that surrounded her. She closed her eyes for a brief moment as she took in her surroundings and when she opened her eyes again, she broke into a light run and she ran down closer to the lake.

Hearing the leaves crunch under her feet, caused her to smile and she stepped down on the ground harder to make even louder crunching noises. Her singing was cut off by the loss of air she quickly felt as she ran and the giggling that quickly overtook her. She was definately hyper today, but only because she was outside. If she had been in the common room now, she would have probably died of boredom.

She quickly threw herself down onto the ground nearest to the water and she streched herself out on the ground, as she resumed her singing where she left off.

"You follow what you feel inside, it's intuitive you don't have to try it comes naturally... it comes naturally..."

It wasn't raining YET, but as Roxi reminded all of her professors and all of her friends, it could start raining at ANY time. One could NEVER be too careful. However, they all seemed to think that carrying an open umbrella everywhere, including in the castle between classes. Some of the superstitious people were terrified of her now, convinced bad luck followed her everywhere. She just liked spinning the umbrella.

She finished eating her lunch and eagerly looked about her group of friends. They were all eating at a tortoise speed and still had over half their plates to go. She made a loud sigh, rolling her eyes, but no one minded her. She heaved another sigh, smacking her lips and shooting pouty eyes around. They were ignoring her. She rose and said indignantly, “Fine! I’m going outside with my umbrella!”

“You do that,” someone muttered. She narrowed her eyes on him and said, “Yes. I will. I WILL do that. Under my-” she took in a deep breath and one of her friends said, “oh no…” “UMBRELLA! ELLA! ELLA!” She turned and skipped out, raising her umbrella over her head as students stared at the colorful blob that streaked past.

She skipped outside, singing at the top of her lungs as she usually did. She fell silent in the cold, as it was drastically colder. She shivered, her teeth chattered despite the large smile on her face. She skipped down the grass, closing her eyes as she hummed, perfectly content despite her friends’ lack of support or cooperation.

Suddenly, her zebra clad foot caught something and she was sent sprawling forward. “OOF!” She pushed herself up and brushed her hair back pulling her legs up and turning around. Her face brightened when she realized that she knew the obstacle that had tripped her. “Oh! Hi Damitrius!” She reached forward and grabbed her fallen umbrella, sitting up.
