Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Some Drinks & A Pretty Girl Empty Some Drinks & A Pretty Girl

Edward was beginning to get fed up with his mates, they were all so childish. They didn't know how to hit on the ladies, how to hold down a few drinks, and they didn't know how to have a good time at all. Ed was the complete opposite of them. He had believed that he could get any girl he wanted; not only because of his charm and good looks, but because he knew how to treat a girl right. He was never the one to hook up with a girl and leave her forever. No, he knew that girls completely hated that. As much as he liked doing it, he had to keep his good reputation with the girls.

As he walked through Hogsmeade, he noticed at least four sixth year girls giggling and gaping at him as he strolled by. To his disadvantage, he had also noticed a seventh year boy wink at him. Edward wasn't the one to judge, but he certainly didn't want to get himself in that situation. Shaking his head, he disregarded the male and continued on his way to The Three Broomsticks.

The place was very busy that day, there were people in nearly every square inch of the interior, he, however, noticed two vacant seats at the bar. Quickly, he took the left seat and ordered a butterbeer. He wasn't in the mood for alcohol just yet. He wanted to wait until later in the evening to begin to drink, it was only five-forty-five after all. Taking his drink, Ed smiled and winked at a girl who sat across the bar. She seemed to be about seventeen, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty. In return, Edward received a dirty look, and an angry grimace from the girl's apparent boyfriend. He turned away and scanned the room for another girl. He truly believed that he could get anyone.

Some Drinks & A Pretty Girl Empty Re: Some Drinks & A Pretty Girl

Jack made her way down the street of Hogsmeade, having just talked to the manager of Zonko's, who was always bothering her about wanting to sell some of her Weasleys' products in their shop if they split the sales. He had tried, he really had, to where he had been near yelling, been near tears, had been sweating. But you could not faze Jack and she had simply blinked and denied his offer with the words, "Once a Weasley product, always a weasley product, only a Weasley product."

He would have hit her if she had not been a girl. If he had done it anyway, he would have gotten quite an impact.

After that, she had run across a man trying to sell some suspicious looking Crups. Sure enough, they had been bred to have terrible talons so she had summoned her intern Teddy who had returned the Crups to the Ministry to try and see what could be done about the talons. She had checked in on one of the shadier shop owners who used to put together fighting rings for Cockatrices and gave him ebough vague threats to make sure he would stay on track.

Finally, her dealings were done. And she needed alcohol. She made her way to the Three Broomsticks- The Hog's Head was typically her first choice, but she usually found somebody who she needed to be brought into the Ministry and then the fun ended. Besides, she really needed to unwind and the Three Broomsticks was closest.

She slipped inside and managed to push her way through the front. She hopped onto a barstool and rapped her knuckles on the bar. "Get me a shot of something and then a tall mug of Firewhiskey, yeah?" He nodded and pulled out a short glass, pouring the drink. She reached out and tossed the glass, the alcohol draining down her throat. She swallowed and set down the glass. "Perfect."

She let out a long yawn and reached up, rufflinf her super short hair. Even her curls were gone. The hair was short and red as ever, giving her face an older, more defined look. She received her Firewhiskey with a nod to the barman and looked into the depths of the drink before taking a long drink. Good times.
