Beck glanced out of a window and he passed and looked out over the grounds. His Slytherin robes swirled at his feet with the motion of coming to a stop and then stilled. The teen leant his elbow against the windowsill and placed his chin in his hand, scowling as he looked out of the window. He spotted a large forest a little way into the distance and his head tilted slightly with a look of curiousity adjorning his features. Since moving to Hogwarts at the start of this term, he'd never fully got a look at the grounds. He was still too busy trying to get to know his way around the castle.
As if to prove this point, the teen turned and leant against a nearby wall, right foot placed sqaurely on the surface, and looked down both the hall he had just walked down and the one he had yet to discover. The school was big, though only slightly bigger than he was used to, but he always had trouble mapping his way around a new place. Lifting his hand, he ran his fingers once through the dark brown hair on his head, before shifting his sloping fringe back in to place. The fifth year kicked away from the wall and headed forward in his usual slouch of a walk. He watched as another student entered through a large pair of doors up ahead and the sound of hushed murmerings came to his ears.
Curiously, the teen moved his feet until they had carried him to the door. He'd never been to this part of Hogwarts before and wondered what was here. He reached out a hand, pale skin grasping around the dark door handle, and pulled. The door opened and his eyes widened fractionally. So, he thought, this is where the library is.
