So Keep Hogwarts locked down, Hogwarts locked down...

Hello. I'm Keith. You all know me by now, but I like the introduction because it makes me feel official and important. And stuff. So there.

Anywho, if any of you haven't picked up on this yet, I like creating mass threads and the like that aren't some kind of dance or party or whatever. So this year, my big project is the Hogwarts lockdown.

What's the Hogwarts lockdown you ask? It's simple really. I propose a school-wide plot that would last a week or so (OoC of course) Essentially, the plot is this: Someone is fooling around with Hogwarts security when they set off an alarm. Suddenly, the entire school is locked into sections, and people are stuck inside a room with people they don't nessecarily know.

Here's the deal - spread the word. Sign up. I'll randomly assign your character to a certain area of the castle, and for one OoC week, that's the only place you can make IC posts. Threads can continue after that, but you'll be free to post wherever once again.

Then again, details are sketchy at the moment. Discuss with me! Sign up!

Just a note, I don't want to be a put down, but I can almost guarantee that no one on this list will actually do as they have volunteered to do, and post in these places. I know it's different, in essence, but look at the Hogwarts reconstruction. It was completely non-compulsory, and I had 42 (or thereabouts) characters signed up for it.

I would've seen about a quarter of that turn up, and half of that was admins, and another quarter of that needed continual nagging from admins.

Basically what I'm saying, is that people are lazy, and can be inconsiderate. And while this may seem like a pointless little admin whine, it comes with a suggestion.

Place one of every person's characters in one of the forums, whether it means that you have 1 forum with 12 mains, then 5 with two people each in them, it's the best way of guaranteeing that some grand plan, which was split up evenly and had people's charries dispersed evenly, wont end up with one person posting in each forum, each of them wishing they could have someone active with them

That's just my two cents on the matter, i think this is a great idea, and I'll help in any way I can. Send me a PM with proposed dates, when you have them, and I'll try and have classes end for that week.
