A nine year old Evelia Maddox sat at the table, in the kitchen of her home in Somerset. Papers were spread out on the table, most covered in scribbles. Evelia put her quill down, and picked up the paper in front of her. “Finally, the perfect plan!” She exclaimed to herself, while sliding off of her chair.
Evelia made her way to her bedroom that she shared with her older sister. She knelt on the floor, and pulled out a knapsack that was filled with emergency snacks. She smiled to herself while getting up off the floor. She placed the knapsack on to her bed, then looked around the room. Now that she got the snacks, she need a trunk, a wand, and a magic cloak. Evelia looked around the room to see her sisters trunk at the bottom of her bed. She made her sister wasn't around, then snuck over to the trunk, and opened it. Evelia took out anything she figured shouldn't be in there, and hid it under her bed. That's just enough room.
Evelia put the bag of snack into the trunk, then walked out of her room. Next, she was going to find a wand. She knew that Nessa would have hers, and so would her parents. Her best bet would be to go after the twins. Evelia went to the door at the end of the hall. She knew her brothers were outside practicing on their brooms, so she wouldn't be caught. She slowly opened the door, and crinkled her nose at the messy and smelly room. Evelia plugged her nose, and quickly made her way to the desks, and luckily found a wand laying on top. She grabbed the wand, and ran back to her room to see her sister standing by her trunk. "Evelia.. What happened to everything in my trunk?" Nessa asked her.
Evelia flashed her an innocent smile, and hid the wand behind her back. She knew she had to come up with the perfect excuse. There was no way she could let her sister know about her plan. If she told her, there was no way Nessa would let her sneak into her suitcase to get into Hogwarts early. Evelia looked up as Nessa started to tap her foot, waiting for an explanation.
“Hey Nessie!” Evelia greeted her, still smiling. “Before I explain, I have one question. Do you know where i could get a cheap invisibility cloak?” Evelia then watched as Nessa picked up all the items Evelia put in there and place them on her bed.
"An invisibilty cloak? Lia.. are you trying to get into Hogwarts again?" Nessa rolled her eyes. "I am not sneaking you into Hogwarts, in my trunk. Now where is my stuff?"
Evelia glared at the older sister, while slowly lifting her arm, and pointing under her bed. "Fine. If you won't help, then i'll find another way." She told her, while crossing her arms over her chest.
Nessa sighed, while grabbing all of her posessions that were now under her sisters bed. "Evelia, for the last time. Your day for Hogwarts will come. You have two years until you get your letter. Enjoy the free time while it lasts."
Evelia scoffed, "Easy for you to say. You don't need to sneak in. People actually like you." Evelia then slowly made her way out of her room, and back down to the kitchen. She sat on her chair, and picked the quill back up, ready to think up some new, better plan.
