Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ne'Os arrived early in the morning he knew he would be the first here so no one would be able to see as he took a swig of polyjuice potion as his face turned into the face of Cody Fuller the poor man he had kidnapped and used to get a job at the ministry and do other things. He looked at the ruins of the staircase there were many parts of it destroyed littering the floor he looked up some of the stairs were still fine and wouldn't require much work but he knew the spell to make the stairs move on the own accord again would take group effort and he knew the project was to grand to just use repairo on the stairs even as a group it would take a lot there was just so many stairs.

He turned and looked he thought he heard someone his hand resting on the hilt of his wand he knew he would have to work on the ask questions first instead of the much easier kill first ask questions later approach. He gave the person a smile for some reason possible due to it being early morning he couldn't quite tell who it was.

Doyle had been present within the school walls ever since the fog of war cleared itself. He had been informed about his job, which is why he had resigned as the school's Potions Master, installing someone new in the process. His bedroom was not far from his office as he soon want down to see what was going on inside the ruined castle. His office had not suffered much damage and he only had some slight wand work to do before seeing it in the exact same state as he had left it - chaotic. In the early hours of the morning, he was a light sleeper, Headmaster Doyle grabbed his cane and started limping down to the Grand Staircase.

That part was extremely delicate since it did not only require fixing and putting things in the right place, but it also required knowledge to make it work again. To his amazement, he was not the first one to arrive. He was not sure who that was, but he held onto his cane more firmly as he slowly approached the person. ''If you're drunk, I would advise you to go help the idiots in the grounds. This requires you to be sober'', Doyle said upon noticing the bottle. ''I don't smell alcohol, though. Edgar Doyle, Headmaster and Potions Master. And you, are?'', he asked with a symbolic look as he stood a couple of feet from the person.

Ne'Os watched the Headmaster walk down the stairs instead of a greeting he was asked if he was drunk "I'm Cody Fuller i work with the ministry" he said in the Irish accent he used to speak with before he had died. "And don't worry i'm not drunk i have to take a special potion every hour to keep my heart from stopping" he said it was true if he didn't take the potion he was sure his life would end rather quickly "this should be interesting i remember when i went to school here sad to see it in the state it is in" he said looking sadly at the staircase.

Ne'Os hadn't been part of the staircases destruction he assumed some death eaters thought it would be funny to make the students running up and down the staircase fall to their dooms by blasting the places where they were. "we should wait for the others but since your the headmaster you would have a better idea of how we should start we could individually work on smaller portions and together on the portions that are to big for one person to handle but i feel it will take the combined effort of our group to set the staircase moving again" he said trying to remember any charm that would help.

Jack headed towards the Grand Staircase where she was needed to work. Yes, groups had been assigned, which was sort of annyoing, because she would have rather spent her time with people she knew rather than whatever self righteous group of do-gooders she was sure she would get stuck with. The first person to start singing the clean up song would get a boot in their arse. Clean up, clean up, everybody do your share...

If she so much as heard the tune, heads would roll.

She turned the corner, ready to face a cheery group of volunteers and then realized the irony of her thought process. Instead of a group of goody-two-shoes "let's fix Hogwarts" type people, she was faced with possibly Hogwart's most grumpy Headmaster and some other man.

She felt a little disappointed. Jack had looked around for Ne'Os, thinking he might show his ugly face. She was sure Ne'Os had no idea Elliot was her cousin. Few people knew the relation. But Jack knew this man was responsible for her cousin's death, and she lnew she would get her revenge. Not today though. He had disappointed her in being too much of a coward to show up.

She walked over to the two men, rolling her neck and cracking her knuckles. "What's the plan with this monstrosity?" The staircase looked nearly beyond repair, and there was three of them to bring the monster back to life. Should be fun.

Doyle laughed at the man's explanation. ''You're good, really. Every hour, you say?'', he asked laughing once more at the man's face. ''No problem, just remember, if you cause any trouble, you'll be thrown out.... whoever you are'', he said in a calm voice and winked at the man. He then turned around and looked at the girl that came. He remembered that girl, not her name, at the moment, but he knew her. She was bold, not exceptionally rational, but bold, like a true Gryffindor.

''You seem a tad disappointed, expecting someone else?'', he asked. ''I could easily use... a certain potion... to make myself look like someone else'', he said symbolically. ''The plan is for you two to start reassembling the pieces and blocks while I figure out how to make all of this function by not doing it piece by piece'', he said and observed the girl and the man, turning to the staircase. There was a lot of work to do.
