What is this?

Lysander woke up feeling really great that morning. He was happy and felt like something good was going to happen to him. Even his brother's superior attitude toward him couldn't spoil his mood. They shared a room, and Lorcan always got most of the stuff in there, too bad he couldn't keep everything clean. Lysander couldn't stand having his room messy, so he cleaned it up. His father looked in the room and immediately he called Lorcan to go with him. Lysander said something under his breath and his brother turned to look at him, but said nothing since Lysander wouldn't look at him.

He didn't even bother to eat breakfast that morning. He told his mother he was going to Hogsmeade. She didn't oppose and he just left without saying a word to his father or brother. Not that they would have listened to him anyways. Luckily he lived close to Hogsmeade so he could walk there. He was getting hungry when he arrived but he didn't want to go into the Three Broomsticks, so he went into Honeydukes. As he walked in Lysander tripped over someone's foot, and bumped into someone.

This morning was terrible. Cassie had a fight with her mum, again, and she left her house with tears in her eyes. She had nowhere to go. Cassie realized how much she misses wands, Hogwarts, books, spells.. how much she misses magic. Then she made her decision. She is going on short trip to Hogsmeade. Her mum won't even notice that she's gone. She has already made a plan in her head. The wand and galleons were in her little bag, and bag was with her. She started to laugh when she realized how crazy she is.

Cassie doesn't live near the Hogsmeade. So, she took a bus to the little village near London. After the bus, she needed 30 minutes walking to come to Hogsmeade. When she came, she felt so proud. This will be beautiful day, she knew that. Suddenly, she realized that she was hungry. Cassie adores chocolate from Honeydukes, so she went there. She was so happy because she was surrounded with chocolate. She took a lot of it and wanted to pay it, but someone has just bumped into her. She droped the chocolate with a loud 'BANG!'. But, that wasn't the worst thing what happened. She also fell. Now she was on the floor and everyone was staring at her. Some guys also started to laugh

'Ouch!' she said and tried to stand up. 'Thank you, very, very, very much!' Eveybody could hear the sarcasm in her voice. She has never had balance, so she hardly stood up. 'Ouch' she repeated when she felt the pain in her arm.

Just what I need... Lysander thought angrily. Why was he always the one getting embarrassed, and not his brother? Lorcan always seemed to be able to avoid things like this. Lysander looked at all the chocolate on the floor around him, and he followed the trial to the person he had bumped into. This was worse because she was a girl. He felt stupid because he had never bumped into a girl, mostly only boys who now picked on him. He placed his hand on his neck and groaned. He hurt his shoulder so it was hard to move his arm.

He heard some of the people staring at them laugh and he got mad. He stood up and turned to face them. "What is your problem?!" he demanded angrily. "Why can't you mind your our bussiness, or at least try to help someone who fell? Don't you guys even have lives?!" he added shouting at them. They were shocked to hear a 14 year old kid talk like that to them. Some swore at him while others just left. But he didn't pay attention to them.

"I'm sorry. I tripped over one of these idiot's foot." He said. "Let me.. uhh... help you up." he stuttered. He was never good at talking to girls, and this was just one more obstacle in talking to them. Lysander extended his hand to her to try and help her up. He noticed she had pain in her arm, but he couldn't do anything about it. They weren't in Hogwarts, and students weren't supposed to use magic outside of Hogwarts. So he didn't know what to do.

'I will be okay' Cassie said when this boy said that he would help her. 'I just need.. I just need to calm down' she slowly said. She really felt pain in her arm, but she was strong. She used to get hurt before. This wasn't her first time she got injured. And this wasn't the worst injury she has ever had.

Cassie took a deep breath and stood up. The first thing she was is that boy, who was standing in front of her and wondering what he needs to do, was really handsome. Then she saw his face expression. It was confused. She smiled to him hoping that her act will make him relax. Then she turned and picked up the chocolate. She felt embarrassed because she wanted to buy so much chocolate.

Then she figured out who was this boy. 'Hey, I know you!' she said and directed her thought in other way. 'You do?' he asked. 'Yes, you are in Ravenclaw too..' she started talking very fast. 'You are in Ravenclaw Quidditch Team, aren't you?' she finally stopped and gave him opportunity to say something. She knew she was talking too much, but her arm was in pain, and she really needed to think about other things. She smiled, giving him an apology.

Lysander smiled sheepishly. "I really am sorry." he said, lifting her up gently. He shot a dirty look at the people who were still snickering. He even showed his wand, telling them that he wasn't afraid to use magic. He knew they were wizards too because he had seen them around Hogwarts. They knew he was serious about using magic when they looked at him, because he wasn't laughing or anything. He looked away from them and back at the girl.

Lysander saw her smile and he relaxed a little. Enough to smile back at her. As soon as she got up he withdrew his hand quickly. He watched her pick up the chocolate, and helped her a little. He got back up and handed her the chocolate he picked up. He smiled again and pulled his hand back quickly.

Lysander was startled when she began to talk again. She was talking very quickly so he couldn't really understand her. He smiled sheepishly, and said, "Uhh, not really." he frowned. "My brother is in it. I'm going to try and get in though." he added. "I'll pay for your chocolate, as an apology?" he said. He hoped she would let him, because he really felt sorry.

'Oops' Cassie said and felt embarrassed. She was very stupid. 'Sorry' she added with no looking him into his eyes. 'Of course you won't pay for my chocolate!' she said and smiled and him. 'I'm the one who replaced you with your brother. I should pay yours!' she said and nodded.

Then she remembered the way he screamed at the others who were standing and laughing at them. It's just not the way one teenager talks. She was standing there, considering two solutions. She could just let him go and just forget everything what happened today, or she could stay with him. I like the other one she thought. Okay, only today. But only today.

She paid her chocolate before this boy could say anything more. 'Hey, I really have so much chocolate.. Would you like to help me with eating it? I don't want to be fat' she asked him, smiling all the time. She was very nervous, she didn't know why.

Lysander shook his head. "No it's alright. Everyone confuses us." he said. "One of the bad things about being twins." he added. "But-" he started. She paid for her chocolate before he could say of do anything else. So he just shrugged. "Oh well." he paid for his candies and took the bag from the counter.

He looked around Honeydukes once more. No one was laughing anymore. He guessed everyone was taking him seriously now. I may not be the popular one out of Lorcan and myself. But I know how to make someone fear me. he thought happily. He was going to have to use this often now, or else he would be picked on alot.

Lysander laughed at her comment, and nodded. "Sure, why not?" he said. "I little bit of chocolate isn't going to kill me." he added and laughed. He felt weird now, weirder than when the day started, that never happened to him before. Did this girl have something to do with it. "By the way, My name is Lysander Scamander." he said.

'Nice to meet you, Lysander. I'm Cassie, by the way' she said and smiled at him. Cassie said nothing about her surname, she didn't think it was important. Cassie is enoguh. She prefers 'Cassie' than 'Delphine', so she didn't want to say anything about her second name.

'Lysander is too long, can I call you Lys, please?' she said and pleasantly looked into his eyes. She loves to give other people nicknames. They are really annoying, but she just loves that. But actually, she doesn't want other people to call her by the nickname. Eveyone calls her 'Cass', it's okay when people she loves call her like that, but when strager calls her Cass.. Well, if she has a wand and if stragner is too annoying, everything can happen.

Meanwhile, she took out her chocolate and started to eat one with white chocolate. Cassie is big fan of white chocolate. 'Which one do you prefet? White or black?' she asked him before she could answer on her previous question. Cassie was holding both of them in her hands, giving him an opportunity to choose.

Lysander smiled and nodded. "Nice to meet you Cassie." he said. "I like that name. It's nice." he smiled. He thought about how normal her name sounded compared to his. Lysander was a bit normal, but not his middle name. Aidou sounded Japanese, maybe it was Japanese. He never really cared to find out, he just liked his name, even if it did sound weird.

He smiled. "Sure, you can call me anything. Most people don't like calling me Lysander. They say the same thing as you, It's too long." he laughed. He was hardly ever called by his name anyways. Even with his family, he was called Aidou instead of Lysander. He didn't mnd though, he liked being called Aidou better anyways.

Ly looked at the chocolate in Cassie's hands. He took the dark chocolate and smiled. "I don't really prefer any one kind. I like all chocolate." he said. He put the chocolate in his mouth and sighed. "Do you want some of my candy?" he asked extending the open bag to her.

'I like Lys' she admitted him while she was eating her chocolate. Chocolate was very good, better than the last time, if that could be possible. Lys took the dark one and she smiled. It was like he was reading her mind. 'Actually, I don't like candies at all' Cassie admitted one more thing. He raised his eveybrow, not beliving her. She gave him that apology-look and smiled. 'Sorry' she added quietly and started to eat her chocolate again.

Cassie realized that she knew Lys' brother, but not him. If he was his twin-brother, he is about to start his 4th year at Hogwarts. Actually, when she thought about that, she had to admit that she saw both of them couple of times. She had that feeling about Lys.. There was something about him. Okay, Cass, stop now. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes again.

'Do you miss Hogwarts? Because I really do, I miss Ravenclaw uniform, I miss my books, using magic, the lake, elfs...' she sighed and stopped talking. Okay, I did it again. I just NEED to stop talking. Cassie felt so stupid. She usually doesn't talk so much, today was just 'one of the day' when she just couldn't stop.
