Byron actually sighed in relief when he left the Freak Show Tent. It was getting a little too ... tense there. Wally was certainly not a very friendly character. On first meeting, that is. This boy had a rather big heart, and he tried to not judge the young girl just based on one time. Perhaps she just was not having a good day. Smiling at his own positivity, Byron scooted to the Petting Zoo, the main attraction of the circus, to him at least.
The boy had heard talk on what animals the circus could possibly be putting up, and he was even more delighted to learnt that he could actually pet them. Byron felt more excited than usual, and it showed. He had laid that thickly on the young girl in the other tent, and it was not entirely well received, to say the least. Shrugging, Byron finally found himself in the right area. Only, he was greeted by a howling, and it certainly did not come from a wolf of any kind.
Peering around quickly, Byron located the owner of the voice and squinted a little, not disturbed by the blood that trickled down a man's ear, but really distubed by what was left of it. Byron squeezed his fists as he felt as if he could feel the exact pain that the other man was feeling. At the same time, Byron frowned. Why isn't anyone helping him? He surveyed the people who had gathered to watch the young man suffering, and felt compelled to do something. The problem was that Byron was an underage wizard. He contemplated on that fact, and decided that he should seek other methods.
Turning to a man who looked as if he worked for the circus' petting zoo, Byron began to ask him loudly, "well can you get some help? Any? Anyone who can help this man?" It sounded as if he was imploring, and Byron never really released his fists when they clenched.
