Thoughts and Ideas for the new year

I have a tendency to keep lists of ideas in my head and I just realised I have one for stuff that I would expect to happen over the next bit of time in the RP.

So here they are in no particular order:

+ The Order would probably secure the school, and have lots of people around Hogwarts & Hogsmeade (there are heaps of Order members listed, but there don't seem to be so many active, what's the deal with that?)

+ The Death Eaters would fall back to count their losses etc. I don't really know what's happening with their plot, but I would expect their next big attack to be about halfway through the first term of the next school year.

+ There would need to be some restoration of the school. If it was RPed over the holidays, maybe we could combine it with that camp idea. Like have some sort of volunteer cleanup plot?

+ If the school is being taken over by the Order, or being declared independent, some of the current professors need to be swapped out. I created Hermione so she could take Damon's class, for example, because he got outed as evil during the battle.


That's just what I've been thinking. I'm sure other people have some other ideas, and I've already seen some threads around. SHARE!

Mmm, we need to go through each of the factions and do a purge of inactive members, as well as define where they stand right now and what they should (But don't have to) be doing.

We are planning a restoration of the school at some point, it's an interesting thought to combine it with the camp, but I think it'd be too much like just continuing the school year straight through.

I know it wouldn't be, but OOC it would seem like it if we're all posting at Hogwarts for camp anyway.

Its fate right now is in the air, i predict some big openings in the staff soon, so each faction should be planning, both OOC and IC (That's right, factions can plan their own fates without our interaction *Looks pointedly at the Death Eaters*) what they want to do to get their people in power.

That's fine, so long as you're prepared for your plan to fall through when everyone doesn't act the way you expected them to.

By now, Jess, we all know that your plans revolve around your universal assumptions of what everyone's reactions will be, which are often wrong and which generally result in your plan going nowhere.

On the other hand, you could actually tell us what your idea is, and we could talk it over in this forum and everyone could participate and any of the roadblocks to your plan would be identified before they actually cropped up in the roleplaying stage.

I know the whole concept of the other players on the board having fun is a radical concept to you, but it might be one worth considering.
