What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting.     GENERAL APPEARANCE: Michael is stocky. He wears dark clothes most of the time. He is pretty tall. His hair is filled with dreads. It is easy to tell he's a skilled wizard. He is all about appearance so he always make sure he looks presentable in front of other people. But, he is not to worried about what he looks like. His eyes are dark brown and it seems that a person can get lost in them by looking into them. He has light brown hair that never seems to be untidy. He has a tattoo on his upper right arm of people being destroyed. (death eaters being defeated) He has no piercings.

    CHARACTER DISLIKES: IDIOTS. Death Eaters. People that waste my time.

    GOALS: Become apart of the Ministry of Magic.

    QUIRKS: Blinks repeatedly sometimes.

    BOGGART: Spiders. Spiders are creepy. Period.

    PATRONUS: First time to Hogwarts. I had such an amazing first day to Hogwarts such as the feast, the sorting (Gryffindor!), and everything eles!

    DEMENTOR: Ministry Under Death Eater Control. Many people were being killed during Lord Voldemort
    's reign of terror over the ministry. It was mayhem.

    VERITASERUM: I once ate paint. If anyone found out, it would be horrifying.

    MIRROR OF ERISED: Defeating dark forces.

    PERSONALITY: Michael has a nice personality. He is open-minded. He never judges a book by it's cover. No matter what you are, as long as your nice to him, he'll be nice to you. He is not conceded and not full of himself. Some of his traits are smart, brave of course (Gryffindor), daring, and kind. He accepts all ideas and advice that people might give him. Even if he doesn't like it he still listens. He is both shy and outgoing. He might walk up to a new person and greet them or he might try to hide behind something so nobody sees him. Michael is quick to snap at someone. If you get him mad, you might just wanna stop talking.

    Early Years: I grew up in a manor far away and was unplottable. I got everything I wanted but wasn't spoiled. I couldn't complain about anything because I was happy in my childhood. I had awesome parents and cool siblings. We would always get together every night as a family and have dinner and talk about our day. My childhood was great! My first and second Birthday party i don't remember but my third one was great. My dad rented out The Three Broomsticks for the day and it was great. I had tuns of fun. I got lots of gifts throughout my birthday parties in my childhood but still wasn't spoiled. If I could judge my childhood from 1 to 10, I would give it 4 billion! It was great. But when I was 11 turning 12, my mom (or "mum" lol) cried as i departed for Hogwarts and thus my adventure BEGAN!


    Hogwarts Years: My Hogwarts years were great. I was a star student and was extremely talented. I was very popular among the students. In first year, I was fascinated with all the magic in and around Hogwarts. It was mind blowing. In second year, I started to become familiar with magic. I started doing amazing things and that is when I became popular with students and TEACHERS! I excelled all of my classes and was also a star student. In my third year, things were still great for me and I was focused on school and started to have a crush on one of my fellow classmates. In fourth year, I was given a time turner for classes and I still have it to this day but do not meddle with time! In fifth year, I became a prefect along with 5 other Gryffindors. In sixth year, I began taking N.E.W.T. classes and passed every single one of them. In seventh year, I became Head Boy and managed the school. I graduated happily with the rest of my peers.

    Adulthood: I don't have much adulthood because I'm only 22 but I like being free from someone telling me what to do.

    PURPOSE OF CHARACTER: To experience a rpg game online because i love harry potter.

    RP SAMPLE I walked to the library and snuck into the restricted section. "Ohhh," I said curiously. I found a book about a piece of dark magic. "A hor..crux?" I said when i tried to pronounce it. I scurried back to my dorm room and took out my wand and whispered "Lumos!" I started reading the pages. I was horrified!:

Hello Zac! First of all, welcome to Potter's Army!

You've got the basis for a good app here but it'll need a bit of work before it can be accepted.

First of all, can you change Michael's surname. It's a canon surname and the Black male line died out with Sirius so could you change that please? Do you need help picking a playby or would you be better off without one?

For the general appearance, you need to go into more depth. Without a playby we don't know what he looks like really and we certainly don't know if he's got tattoos, piercings etc. Think something along the lines of 100-150 words there.

Strengths and Weaknesses are fine though, can you explain why one of his weaknesses are idiots? Surely that belongs in likes/dislikes - and it's already in there.

Go into depth about the Boggart/Dementor/Veritaserum and Patronus would you? These are all really important bits and I'd love to know why Michael's worst memory is Harry Potter's death.

Go into more depth about his personality. What are his traits? Is he judgemental about things? Is he shy around new people? That sort of thing. Think 100-200 words.

Okay, pets. Owl is fine but Phoenix and Basilisk - not so much. To have a Basilisk would earn him time in Azkaban and why does he have a Phoenix?

Again, can you go into more depth and detail in his history? Don't worry so much about his adulthood but can you add more to his childhood and Hogwarts years please? Think about 200-300 words per each one. I'm sure you can do it! ;D

Okay, I think you're good to go but there is one small problem. You need to come up with a non-canon surname for him. Sorry, we're not allowing connections to canons anymore - through family members or even just names. It's to clear up confusion.
