Ah! There's an animal in that park! (TOTW)

Jess couldn't believe he'd never come here before.

Seriously, a magical animals park right on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, how it had remained hidden from him during all his years at Hogwarts completely evaded him. Still, now that he'd found it, he wasn't planning on letting it stay empty for long.

Looking around he couldn't help but marvel in the lovely day they were experiencing, spring was truly underway now, it was really quite nice, he thought.

The park itself was massive, there was a lake, river, small waterfall and of course a tree filled orchard, perfect for his animals to run about and play.

Today was going to be all about having fun he'd decided. Looking around he saw several students from the school running around with their animals, and he'd invited his own friends to join him today for a picnic, from what he'd gathered, lots of people liked to do the same on a sunny afternoon like today.

His cat, Stanley, a black and white tuxedo cat, was running around, chasing a gnome around and batting playfully at their heads, though he'd learnt early on that leaving your paw within biting distance for too long could have bad consequences.

Seriously, those bites hurt.

Still, all was set for him and his friends to have a nice time today

Khaat had been spending a great deal of time with Michael. He was good for her. He made her laugh. Today, he had talked her into going out with him to the park. He had packed a very traditional picnic lunch. He loved cooking, and he had promised her he would not disappoint.

She had chosen a chocolate brown gauze maxi dress, lovely sandals, and had draped a shawl over her shoulders and then met him on the main street in Hogsmeade and embraced him warmly. It was a beautiful day.

"Where are the girls?" he asked. "I thought you were going to bring them."

"Ah, well, Grandma and Grandpa wanted them for the day. I think they want to take them to some sort of carnival or festival or something," Khaat replied.

"Good for them. Then I have you all to myself. Let's go, then." He offered her his arm, and they walked down to the park. Khaat saw Jess first. "Jess! Are we the first?" she asked.

Jess looked up as he heard a pair of familiar voices and waved. "Hey Michael, hey Khaat," he said as he waved to them, a smile on his face as he watched the two of them approach him, arm in arm, with a picnic basket swinging from Michael's elbow.

"Yes, you certainly are," replied Jess, patting the rug as a gesture for him to join him in sitting on the rug. It was a decently sized thing, with enough room for at least 10 people, though at that point most people would probably start getting a little squashed, what with food in the center and people stretching out.

"Ooh, is that food I see, swinging from your arm?" He asked, pointing at the basket and grinning, he'd already brought a few appetizers for his friends, but he'd been sure to include that food was wanted in the invite.

"Did you bring any pets?" He asked, pointing at his own cat, Stanley, who was currently being swung around by a Cornish Pixy.
