GENERAL APPEARANCE: Helena’s the one you will always see right through, like her skin was diaphanous. She seems to be invisible, nothing is noticable about her, she’s waning in the crowd. Her almost skinny built and short height creates an impression of a lost child. But if you look into her eyes for just a second she will remain in your memories. You may even stop for a moment and look at her, amazed how discordant she is, an element which doesn’t fit to the world, a wrong puzzle. You will notice an unsure, insecure smile trembling on her mouth, but she will quickly go away with her noiseless walk. She’s not a typical beauty but some people adore her fair skin, blonde hair and lynx glance. There’s definitely something attractive about her but at the same time it’s hard to decide what. Her undeniable virtue is an amazing voice: silky and tender, very calmative. It’s worth mentioning that her hands are covered with scars from a burn. That’s why she always wears a pair of elegant gloves.
Her style is not very original or daring. She prefers pastel colours, girly and elegant clothing.

PERSONALITY: Helena’s a very quiet person. At first sight she seems to be emotionally stable, reasonable and calm. She somehow is, but she’s also very ambivalent, volatile. Her feelings are hidden for the most of the time, she never moans about anything, never cries and rarely tells other people things about herself. But sometimes she explodes, erupts, shows her weakness. Full of contractions, Helena is not easy to understand. She’s not trusting other people and being naive at the same time; not needing a company and feeling an urge to be loved; helping other people and hating them. Helena seems very insecure about herself. Even when she talks, she appears to be unsure about her words, like she was about to change her mind during she claims something. The only things which makes her voice sound strong and undoubtfull are herbs and potions. Her mother, a muggle, was an author of books about herbalism and because of her Helena was fascinated by plants. She got interested in healing too, Aiden was always her “patient” she tested her “drugs” on. Then she started to take care of little, injured animals. After her brother's death she’s desperately trying to save everyone around her, she doesn’t want to blame herself again.
It’s quite hard to get on with Helena, because she’s a very specific person. She’s very loyal as a friend, but talking to her may be sometimes tiring. When in good mood, she has got a great sense of humour, she’s charming and lovely. But when she becomes a taciturn, sad lady, it’s better just to stay next to her, not say a thing and hug her, give a shelter made of arms, make her feel safe. Because she never does.

CHARACTER HISTORY
------------------------------------------------------------
Early Years: Helena doesn’t remember her childhood well. It’s more like there are some bright points, particular events looming from the darkness. Her family lived happilly with a forest and a small lake nearby. She remembers being careless and carefree, full of energy. Her brother, Aiden, was her best friend and they were inseparable. They even invented their own twin language. All of the happy days are rather misty. The first thing she remembers very clearly is a day, when she almost drowned. They were, as almost everyday during the summer, challenging themselves to stay underwater as long as they could. Her leg stuck between two rocks and if it wasn’t Aiden, she would have died. She’ll never forgret this feeling, it sometimes still occurs in her nightmares and she wakes up crying. Another two wonderful years of her life with Aiden were suddenly interrupted. They were playing in the forest, chasing a fox, laughing so hard that they scared off every bird. Eventually they gave up and Helena started playing with her magnifying glass, trying to recognize a herb she has never seen before. This summer was amazingly dry and hot so it didn’t took much time to kindle the fire. She desperately tried to put it off but it immediately became too severe. That’s how she got her hands burned. She managed to run away. Aiden didn’t. He was 10 years old.
She stopped talking and remained in silence for a couple of months.
Hogwarts Years: She doesn’t really remember her first years at Hogwarts. She wanted to go back home and at the same time, she could not imagine living in a place so full of Aiden’s presence. She was quiet, withdrawn, unable to connect with other people. Her personal tragedy was so painful that she didn’t really pay attention to what was going on around her. She was a loner, rapted in grief. Helena didn’t cry about Aiden. She couldn’t, it was a despair too colossal to let her find any relief in tears. But she gradually adapted to the enviroment, made a few friends. Her parents treat her different than they used too, they blame her for Aiden’s death as much as she does. So she doesn’t really like going back home, she rather feels like she hasn’t got home anymore.
When she got interested what’s happening in reality not filled with her sorrow, she joined Potter’s Army. Maybe she’s unsure about anything she does, but that’s the only thing Helena knows she chose right. Trying to live relatively normal is quite a hard challenge in todays world but she believes she’ll eventually make it.
But she’ll never forget. Altough she tries to find oblivion in everything she does by doing it passionately, with her whole heart, Aiden will still appear in her dreams along with the sound of crackling branches and birds flying away.

RP SAMPLE: - Spoiler:
She loved the feeling of coolness. It was like dozens of needles made of ice were subtly scuffing her skin. Her palce face were unhurriedly getting covered with lovely, pink blush, making her cheek bones even more craggy and her nose zanily flushed. She opened her mouth and slowly inhaled. It felt like her trachea freezed, she almost heard an arid crack of an ice filling her inside. The silky sound of fox’s paws immerging in snow nearby. Life worth living.
”GOT YOU!”, Aiden screamed and at this very moment snow literally covered her up. She shook her head, looked at him with rage and formed even a bigger snowball that she threw at him right away.
”You want a war? Okay, you’re dead! So dead!” she roared, jumped on him. Three second later, they greatest snowfight known to humanity ended resulting Aiden’s victory. But it didn’t mean a thing, they were both laughing so hard, that Helena started crying.
”Revenge will be mine, beware!” she warned him when they got a bit calmer. He smiled brazenly and got up.
”Never”, he replied. “Catch me!”. And he run away. And suddenly the world started to collapse. The snow melted, the fire surrounded him. She could see it from afar and she was unable to react. The arid crack of branches. Aiden screaming, this time without any joy. Helena, motionless and powerless. The fox burning in flames. She closed her eyes, crying.
"You are already caught, Aiden."
She opened her eyes, crying. It was a dream. Another dream, dying Aiden, dying fox, a personification of their happy childhood. Fire. Pangs of concience didn’t let her sleep. She swaped tears from her face, looked briefly in her reflection in the window. Her eyes will be swollen again. And she can’t miss her classes today. Four at the morning. Her heart was beating so hard it almost jumped out of her chest.
It’s going to be a horrible time till the dawn comes.
