Business League Meeting 1

The new Business league was to meet at Sparks tonight after business hours. Well, normal business hours, anyway. There wasn't a good time for all of the merchants to gather because their hours were all varied. When the idea had been proposed, Khaat had offered her space in Sparks and had offered to provide refreshments, no charge.

She had created a very ample and generous buffet of all of the items on her spring menu. She had placed the meeting in the large dining room with the buffet off to the side. She doublechecked to be sure that there were candles on all the one very long table she'd set up, to add some beautiful nighttime atmosphere to the dining room. She placed plenty of fresh flowers and made sure that there were extra desserts in the bakery for those who might want something different.

She merely wanted them to feel at home, so she had done her best to make the place look clean and light and fresh, with plenty of good food.

When she thought it was ready, she poured herself a glass of the new nonalcoholic sangria over plenty of ice, and walked around, double checking it all, waiting.

Jess walked in and looked at Khaat smiling , her shop had been left to gather dust but she was determind with a revamp she could make it work better than it had and so now entered the first meeting of the shop owners as she had been invited to do. " evening Khaat , hows things , your looking radiants as always" she said walking over to her " how are the babies?" she smiled taking some non alcaholic sangria for her self.

Sitting down she sipped it remebering its fresh taste that she loved so much after her trip to tuscany with jack for a second honeymoon a new ring sat on her finger an amethest set in white gold that simbilised eternity as he ahd not given her a ring when andrew had been born. She smiled at it each time she saw it.

James Manson has been away too much and he thought his Ollivander business was not getting well taken care of, and it didn't. There was still that other shop for Dark Wizards to get there Wand and it was kinda a rivalty to Olivander, but he was sure he wasn't going to let Mr.Ollivander down as he went in his footsteps. When he was back from his trips and stuff, he found the mail about some special Meeting as it was enough for him to get there. He needed a revamp that was for sure, and maybe they had some ideas. So he gently grabbed his cloak around him, his head up as he walked softly out of the shop, locking it and then heading to the Bistro.

When he finally was there after a long stroke, he opened the Bistro as he looked around as he saw how it was nice around the place. "Ahh Good Day Miss Heart, Miss Lupin."He said giving a soft bow smiling to them. "I hope I am not interupting anything."He said as he put his hat off and his cloak as he looked at the two woman.

jess looked up as a man entered she smiled and nodded " good evening mister Manson , good to see you " she said and smiled siping her sangria as she watched him walk over " so how are you doing this fine morning? " she asked having felt the day for her had been a good one " is the wand busness still lucrative?" she knew from how many people she ahd seen coming and going from his shop it was hers had been very quiet , one reson she had closed the shop for a while, that and othre things going on with her self. She turned back to Khaat " so whats the meeting about Khaat, new ideas for the shops , or just to let you know about old ones continuing?" she asked .

OOC: Okay, Guys, what did I miss in describing this meeting is at night? After business hours? How could I have described that better?

"Hello, Jess," Khaat smiled. She wasnt surprised Jess had been one of the first to arrive. "Thank you. Things are fine--so far,anyway."

She saw Mr. Manson enter. "Mr. Manson, Good evening! Its good to see you. I'm glad you could come. I've missed seeing you around. You're not interrupting anything. You're both free to help yourselves to the buffet. The entire spring menu is on the buffet, so you're free to take as much of whatever you want. Somehow, I find meetings generally are more pleasant over some sort of food.

"My hope for this is that we can come together and generate some idea for making our business areas more attractive to more people somehow. We all have businesses that have value to the wizarding world. We just need to find some ideas to get people more interested in coming."

Ne'Os appeared outside the Sparks Bistro & Bakery with a soft pop he didn't know why he felt so compelled to come here but he knew that it was probably linked to some memory from his past life he wondered if he owned a shop in Diagon Alley. He stepped intro the store and looked around a bit before his eyes rested on Khaat. He instantly recognized her as the director of st. Mungoes but not only that he remembered her from the order. he walked over to the group he assumed he was late. "Sorry i'm late i couldn't find the place i had to walk up and down the alley before i remembered where i was going and then aperated here" he said with a polite smile.


He had a sudden burst of memory as he remembered that he owned a bar in knockturn alley although what it served and what was so important about it and his past life remained a mystery to him he would wait until asked his name and shop before he said something. What he learned since coming back to life is that his name was not one people liked to hear.

"Good evening, Ne'Os," Khaat smiled. Khaat had some quirk that allowed her to generally look past almost anybody for what they did to her. Either that or it was utter stupidity. Still, the ill will that she had once felt towards Ne'Os had faded over time. There were others she was a lot more ready to forgive and move on with her life. He couldn't find the place? That wasn't the Ne'Os she knew. He had known very well where Sparks was and where she was. He had changed somehow.

"I'm glad you could make it. I haven't seen you in awhile. How are you?" She was cordial. There was time for her to catch up with him later. She motioned for him to follow through to the larger dining room where she had set up the meeting table and the buffet. "Help yourself. I have the entire spring menu out. There's plenty for you to have as much as you like."

Ne'Os was half suprised that she knew him but he figured she atleast knew his name but he wondered if she met him since he got his new body.Not letting that stew in his brain for to long he responded to her question about a full second slower than normal "Im fine i guess can't remember how to get out of my apartment most days but thats part of the adventure" he said jokingly "But Khaat just answer me this, what is the name of my bar that i own and where might that be located...and did i ever leave you a key i cant remember if i ever left one in m y apartment or even where to start looking for it" he said serious this time.

"Your bar? Its called the Blood Bank, and its in Knockturn Alley. I wish I could say I have a key, but I don't. However," she grinned, "that rarely stops me from getting into someplace I really want to get into. I'm sure we can get you in when the meeting is over. In the meantime, make yourself at home. You'll find we don't serve alcohol, but we do have some decent food and drink.

"I really am hoping that we can encourage more business in the shops. I know the worldwide economy is hard fir muggles, or so they say, but it never has been very easy being a wizard either. Very precious few people have enough wealth that they don't have to worry. However, our shops are some of the few places where wizards can go to buy what they need at all. We need to find ways to encourage that. Maybe give people a place to have a little fun while they're at it."

Thaor apparated to just outside sparks, he straightened his cloak, and proceded inside. His hair no longer it's rich brown, but a dull gray, and his face pale. He no longer hid the signs of his stress, but used them to his advantage. When he received notice of this meeting by Khaat, he intended on attending to see what good it'd do him, he overslept, and now his appearance was the perfect excuse.

Please excuse my lateness. I had some things to wrap up at the shop. Thaor said with a smile at no one in particular as he took a seat.
