APPEARANCE
------------------------------------------------------------
HAIR COLOR: brown (sometimes dyes blonde)
EYE COLOR: brown
HEIGHT: 5'7
BODY TYPE: Slender
GENERAL APPEARANCE: Before her pregnancy Jamie was one of the most beautiful people you could lay eyes on. She had long beautiful (dyed) blonde hair and pretty chocolate eyes. Her skin was an almost crystal-like porcelain that would tan just slightly in the summer. She was average height but walked with elegance and grace. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that her chest was considered slightly small. She always felt conscious of this fact and tried to make it as un-noticeable as possible.
After her pregnancy Jamie started looking sicker and sicker. She didn't gain any baby fat in the nine months. Instead she came out the other end looking anorexic. Her skin sure looked porcelain pale, but not in a good way, and you could see both her cheekbones and ribs very clearly. Her hair has returned to it's natural brown (and it looked very pretty). Her body looks neglected, like she could care less about what happens. Now, this is probably accurate.
Slowly her body returned to it's pre-pregnancy state. Looking as beautiful as ever Jamie is returning to public view. She has returned to dying her hair blonde. While still model-skinny Jamie has filled out enough to look normal and not sick. She has started running miles every morning and working out, leaving her with muscles. She actually looks extremely tough now. I would be scared to be in the same room as her if I were you.
To recap: Jamie went from princess to sick to badass. Got it?

MIRROR OF ERISED: Jamie hugging a sixteen-or-so year old Prim. Both of them are laughing and look joyful. You can see the Ravenclaw robes on Prim. She is beautiful and has her father's eyes. Jen smiles in the background with her arm around Rob.
PERSONALITY: 'New' Jamie is very different from her old self. Where she used to be weak and dependent on men to run her life Jamie now refuses help from anyone. She is about as independent as any one woman could be. Sometimes she has an urge to re-vist her old self and run back to Elijah or any other male but she enjoys squashing these 'unhealthy' emotions. It would now be very wrong to call Jamie weak. She is not only emotionally stable but physically strong. With almost a religious passion she keeps to her morning runs and works out for much of her time. She does this because she loves the way her body feels being strong. It is also subconsciously something that she has control over. After the last year of her life when everything came out from under her having some control is not only a relief but a necessity. Jamie hates letting other people get the upper hand with words. Now that she is out of her shell she won't back down from practically any argument, no matter how small.
As far as her family goes Jamie is deeply protective. It doesn't matter to her that most of the people she considers close to her are in no way blood related. Where Prim, her daughter, is concerned Jamie still isn't quite sure. The baby is still so young and Jamie is still so new at being a mother. Part of her wants to spend all of her time taking care of her and being a real mom but part of her (the more dominate part) feels it would be better to leave her with Jen to be taken care of. Jamie really kinda wants to just live her own life.
When it comes to romance Jamie considers herself retired. Sex is fine but falling in love? Too risky. Coming from the girl who rejects each and every strong emotion love is just.. I can't even put it in words. She denies it every day but she still deep down has real feelings for Elijah, not just lust. Not that she would ever let that slip.
Where friends are concerned Jamie is a mixed bag. When she chooses she can be a complete social butterfly. Both charming and pleasing to be around (like her pre-pregnancy years) she attracts anyone and everyone to spend time with her. Jamie has a special talent of being able to make anyone like her. She can almost alter her personality to be what they want. This is both good and bad, in the sense that she also alters herself to please those she loves (aka James, Albus, Elijah, etc.) Currently has been living inside for so long she has lost touch with many of her old friends. She now only has a few very close friends. Not going to Hogwarts has cut her off from the social world that she is so fremilior with.

CHARACTER HISTORY
------------------------------------------------------------
Early Years: Jamie lived an extremely protected childhood. She was always surrounded by loving nannys, good society, and too much money to bear. From a young age she had it drilled into her that she was better than everyone else by birth right. As a only child for a long time she also became quite spoiled. When her sister and brother came along it was a slight shock when people started paying more attention to the cute little babies than her.
For her early schooling Jamie was taught by personal tutors who were the best of their subject. She was not a yearning student and did not greatly desire the knowledge. Having two brilliant Ravenclaw parents set her up for greatness, however, and she became preficient with distinction in all classes without trying. As Jamie's knowlegde grew she soon found that one basic thing was not being shown. Magic. While her parents were both talented in the magical arts they never seemed to demonstrate it in everyday life. Jamie grew and expanded her early magic very much on her own. It was neither incuraged or discouraged, rather ignored.
As Jamie entered her pre-teens she found herself (mainly her looks) changing for the better. Where she had started as cute she now became truely beautiful. Being so young she only had one love, a neighbor named Lewis. The two of shared summer nights by the pond and running through the woods together. During the summer before she turned 11 they shared their first kiss. Then Jamie received her Hogwarts letter.
Once there was solid proof that Jamie was magical the maigcal world opened up to her. She suddenly seemed to see signs of wizardry everywhere she went. When she traveled to Diagon Ally it was the most incredible expirance of her life. There were the most incredible things around her and she had the money (and parents) to get them all. Out of everything she received Jamie was most drawn to the astronomy and divination related objects. Unfortunately she found that she had to wait to third year to take them. When Jamie arrived at 9 3/4 she found herself more than delighted to leave her old life behind.
Hogwarts Years: When Jamie got on the train she found herself immediately fitting in. She became close friends with the three people she shared her compartment with in the hours it took to get to school. Everything around her seemed so natural and Jamie knew this was where she belonged.
At the banquet Jamie was sorted into Ravenclaw. She wasn't surprised because her whole family as far back as she could remember had been Ravenclaw. She was surprised however how long it took for the sorting hat to get to that place. Amazingly for a long time the hat considered Hufflepuff. Like Harry knocked down Slythirin, Jamie knocked down Hufflepuff. No one wanted to be a puffer.
Jamie was happy with her life at Hogwarts. She had good (ok, great) grades and lots of friends. She found Ravenclaw comfortable and inviting. She quickly found that she was quite good at Quidditch but was too young to make the team. Life was comfortable. Overall first year was pretty good. She grew as a wizard and a person. It was soon clear that the world did not revolve around her at Hogwarts and she could accept that. First year was the gateway to a very promising Hogwarts career
Second year was much like the first. Nothing really happened. So I'm not going to write about it. So there.
Third year was when Jamie really started getting involved with two of the three most important things in her school time. The first was divination. While Jamie was great at all of her classes she was especially amazing at divination. Not a single answer seemed to escape her. the knowledge came naturally and Jamie was singled out as one of the best students of her year in that regard. The second thing was Quidditch. Almost every evening before dinner she took time out of homework to go out to the pitch and practice. She became a very good beater (for her age) but it was too violent for her so she choose chaser as her position of choice.
Forth year launched her first romance at Hogwarts. It wasn't really important to her personality or anything and the guy ended up being a total flop but it did open up that would of the school for her. And if you know anything about Jamie you'd know that romance changed her life. Anyway, the relationship lasted for several months before he broke up with Jamie, claiming that she be too 'clingy' and 'emotional'. Wow. That would just not be possible. After of course Jamie claimed that she was going to break up with him anyway. Other than that nothing remarkable happened. Jamie stopped hanging out with many of her old friends and found a group of other girl who were all more like herself, 'perfect' and princess-like.
Where fifth year was for studying for most kids, for Jamie it was for socializing. Studying sucked the fun right out of her. Unfortunately, the whole of Ravenclaw house was studying *cough*nerds*cough*. So Jamie found that this intense learning time would be perfect for becoming an amazing quidditch player. Until now she had been two young to even consider trying out for the team. Now she was determined. As OWL's grew closer and closer Jamie started to feel the pressure that the other students felt. Feeling like she was way behind everyone else Jamie studied and studied and studied. It was well worth it. Her OWL scores were as follows.

Astronomy: O

BEHIND THE CHARACTER
------------------------------------------------------------
YOUR NAME: Emily
RP EXPERIENCE: I.. have no idea..
HOW YOU FOUND US: same
OTHER CHARACTERS: Mira Anderson
RP SAMPLE:
zzy sat in the parking lot in her mother's car waiting for her to get out of school. And although she would never admit it she was sulking like a child. It just wasn't fair that her mother got to go to public school when Izzy could only take online courses. What was Ronny's problem? Was it her life's mission to make Izzy as isolated and miserable as possible? With a huff and crossed arms she sat and watched the other children file out of the building. They didn't know how lucky they were.
Izzy loved people watching in any form. She could make up stories about their lives all she wanted. It was almost like these anonymous people became sort of a part of her. When she thought of it that way it was actually kinda creepy. But anyway.. Izzy was watching the students and teachers exit the building when she spotted someone. They shone like the sun to her and she didn't know why. It was a boy. An incredibly handsome boy. Possibly (okay, probably) more beautiful than Elijah. There was no question in her mind that she just had to meet him.
In a moment of desperation Izzy got out of the Jeep. Her mother was going to kill her. Grabbing a textbook from the backseat she pretended to be a student and started walking towards the school.. right in the path of the glowing boy. Pulling out her phone she started to send a text to Elijah not really saying anything important but making sure to keep her eyes on the screen. With a thud she landed on her butt as they collided. "Ow." Izzy mumbled as she picked up her books and got up. "Sorry" she said catching the boy's eyes and making sure to hold him.
It was like an electric current was traveling through her. Either she didn't know what chemistry felt like or something was seriously off here. This man was something special to her.. and she felt like he had something to do with why she had been kept away from the world her whole life. He was the key to everything. To danger. To love. To her life. And she had just touched him. It was like meeting a god.
Looking back on this moment in life Izzy would realize just how dramatic of a teenager she was. Lucas was no god. He really sucked actually. Just another man-whore who was horribly tangled in with herself. But she couldn't have helped it. Meeting him? That was something very important that wouldn't be treated lightly. That (this) moment would end up changing everything for her. If only she had known it then. Plus, she might not have acted so stupidly. Her life with Elijah lay ahead. But everyone wishes they could have told themselves things about the past. Izzy's situation was just destined to happen sometime. Fantastic.
With a smile Izzy looked in the eyes of the man who would be nothing to her.. but yet everything.
