Hello.
So, you've all read the team moderator guide, this is more for the specific roles of the moderators than anything else.
Now, this topic is different to the other one because it is what the individual roles are, and because this team is just the specialist mods, so you all need to read this.
Note: These roles aren't limited to just one mod, just make sure that if it's not your role, just check with an admin, or the moderator who's role it is before you do it, just to make sure that you're not buggering up their work.
So, there are three of you, and three different types of moderator, so three different jobs, really, all have one similar one though.
Global ModThis moderator serves two purposes. He/She is the Head Moderator in most cases, if we need to change that we will, but for now they are.
The Global Moderator's job is to survey the site, look around the topics, keep an eye out for rule breaking, note activity, and keep the OOC stuff alive. While everyone is required to do this, it's on a relatively smaller scale than the global mod, because the global mod needs to look around everywhere, it's their only job, so they need to do it well.
Advertising ModThe advertising mod has a fairly straightforward task, and you may have guessed what it is.
The advertising mod should work in conjunction with the admins, because we're also supposed to have an advertising admin. What you need to do is take our graphic advertisement (We're working on it) and post it on every site that will allow it, negotiate affiliates and site advertisements if need be. Just make sure not to stay on the sites you advertise on
On top of this the Advertising mod should look around the site for rule breaking and what not, but it's not as thorough or formal as the global mod.
Graphics modThis mod also has a fairly straightforward task, but there are a few little things that need clarifying with it.
As you may have guessed, the graphics mod needs to be reasonably talented with graphics, and needs to be able to produce some graphics for the site. Banners, nav bars, themes (Sometimes) and advertisements as well. It's a fairly loose job, because clearly we don't need something produced 24/7. When we need graphics, we'll toss around some ideas for the content with you, then we'll leave you to produce it. As with the other two mods, you do need to do the surveying of the site as well, but again, not as formally as the global mod.
Event modsThese mods are welcome to follow the work of a traditional moderator, but mainly we'd like for them to focus on the event work that has been explained in the topic "Shuffle"
Their powers are absolute when it comes to the running of events, they only answer to admins, but for the most part we'll be backing you up, unless you're being a prat
Specifically your job is to make events and run them, come up with new events and all that jazz, fairly straightforward but if you have any questions, do post them.
I think that's it, any questions just post them here and I'll sort it out for you, but make sure that you're doing
all the specified stuff in the team mod guide as well as this stuff.
