Renny had to cool off. Piper would force her to raise her voice and act out otherwise. She could not be anything but calm and collected. So she had went upstairs, put on a pretty dress, a matching pink ribbons, some white stockings, and headed out for a day outside. She walked outside and a blue sky twinkled down at her, assuring her that everything was alright, everything would be alright. White clouds inspired her. Light reflected off of the lake and lit up her face, eyes, and hair. She already felt better.
The lake was to compelling to abandon now. She walked down the path towards the lake, stopping as she neared to pull her shoes and stockings off, continuing to walk barefoot. Today was a surprisingly pleasant day and she was thrilled to have a chance to take advantage of the sunshine and the general warmth that surrounded the lake.
When she reached the spot she had been aiming at however, she realized she was not the only one who had thought to come outside to enjoy the changing seasons. She hesitated as she considered the boy, but put on a smile and approached. She recognized him, as she did with most people. She had an eye for people and a mind for names. "Hi, you're Julian, right? We're in the same house." She gave him a soft smile. "Could I join you? It's just so nice today," she asked, holding up her shoes and stockings.
