After a beautiful night with Shelby in the carnival he woke up wide awake feeling better than ever. Shelby was a really nice and different girl to him, so thats why he felt like a different person. The kinda person who could go back to bullying anyone he felt like bullying. He just didn't think Shelby felt the same way. He walked down the stairs from the common room and called Shelby from her dormitory. "Shelby, meet me in the entrance hall so we could...y'know.....just talk" Ethan told her. He didn't bother changing into his dress code and walked towards the entrance hall.

Once he got there he layed up against the wall next to the doorway of the dungeons, he waited for Shelby. Ethan was one to get pretty bored pretty quickly so first he decided to walk around in circles and then he just figured to stand there and tap his fingers on his pants. Eventually he just decided to watch how other people look. One of them was this kid, he couldn't quite remember his name, because he was new, and because it was from some wacky show he used to watch when he was like 12. To Ethan, he looked like the biggest nerd there ever lived. Huge glasses, bored expresssion, someone who just loves to hang out in the astronomy club. Ugh if I had to count all of the problems wrong with this guy I'd probably throw up. Hmm wait 'til Shelby gets here, we're gonna have lots of fun with him. Ethan thought giving him a dirty look.

Shelby hurriedly dressed in a green tank top and black skinny jeans. She slipped on some lime green flip flops and ran out of the common room. She went up to the entrance hall and looked for Ethan. When she found him she threw her arms around him a huge smile on her face. "Hey," she said stepping back from him smiling up at Ethan. "last night was wonderful." she saw he was looking off at what she presumed to be nothing but still looked over where he was. "Who is he?" she asked him giggling at the way this random person looked so dorky.

Dexter had been driven out of both the common room and the library. It was all too loud. He skipped lunch and headed down to the entrance hall, slipping into a shadow and sitting cross-legged, with his back to the wall, a wood block puzzle in his hand. He designed his own with simple Transfiguration spells, each more complex than the last, and he would do this to calm down.

Books lay scattered around him, bits and pieces of his many little knowledge quests, self proclaimed research projects. He was intent on solving this puzzle, unperturbed by anyone around him, if there were any. He heard a faint giggle but his world was sliding blocks, trap doors, clicking locks, everything that could be fit into the little cube puzzle. He was in his own little world.

He planned to stay that way.

Ethan was not really paying attention when Shelby came out. He was still just tapping his pants and around everywhere to critisize people. But that nerd that was still standing by the column was the one he kept his eyes on. He was so peculiar, and he dressed like a retard, but anyone basically looked like a retard wearing school uniform in Ethan's eyes. His glasses was the weirdest he'd ever seen, even worst than Harry Potter's first year glasses. His appeareance bothered Ethan and he was ready to take the frustration out on him. But right when he was gonna go up to him, Shelby arrived. He was a little startled at first.

"Uhhh what? Ethan stammered. He looked down and spotted Shelby. "Oh hi Shelby, I guess you noticed the asshole too. Wanna cause some trouble ?" Ethan asked her with and evil smirk and his wand in his palm. Regardless of Shelby's desicion Ethan was planning on messing with this kid, whether it was today or the next day something was gonna happen to him that Ethan caused. That was all he knew for sure. He aimed his wand at the kid who appeared to not be looking and incited "Averte Statura". The spell went flying and Ethan specifically aimed at the puzzle. He didn't want that dumb nerd to go snitch on him as soon as they were about to have fun. He kissed Shelby's forehead and walked towards the guy.

Shelby was still giggling as they walked towards the guy. She stood halfway behind and half way beside Ethan as they walked her wand in her hand. She accioed the little puzzle before Ethan’s spell hit it. She pushed her hair out of her face and stepped out from behind Ethan. “Don’t do anything to stupid.” She murmured so only Ethan could hear. “I don’t want you getting into too much trouble. “ Smirking at the kid with the curly hair and the dorky glasses. She didn't say anything more not feeling she needed to. She thought it would be point less.

((I need to remind you what you are doing is called godmoding. You can not just take charge of someone's things. You throw a spell but let them decide to react and decide whether it takes effect or not))

Dexter hated that it seemed the second his guard was down was the time they all decided to pounce and disturb his peace. He felt the puzzle tug out of his hands and he tried to snatch it from the grips of the spell but he had never been an able athlete and his reflexes were less than superb. They were closer to nonexistent in all honesty. The puzzle flew out of his hands, the two pieces in his hands remaining so that the puzzle was less complete than ever.

He looked up. Slytherin gear was their only identifying features; Dexter knew a total of, what, four people in the castle? He slowly stood and approached the boy and girl, his hand outstretched to the girl ho had summoned his puzzle. "That was very clever," he said in his dry voice, his sarcastic humor getting the better of him. "May I have my puzzle?"
