Clayton had been childhood friends with Delilah and they spent one night together where clay left her alone and pregnant. that was four years ago and Delilah now has a Four year son named Dylan who Clayton is just finding out about. he's pissed at him self for becoming like his father and then upset with Delilah who he thought of as a little sister at times who didn't tell him about delilah. Delilah was only protecting Dylan because she didn't want him to get to know his father then have his heart broken when Clayton left. now Delilah is Engaged/married to Steven walker and they have twins on the way. Steven and Clayton work together and Clayton is ruining her happy life.
so what I'm getting at here with all of this is that Clayton needs a friend possibly a person who can help him see his son though dylan is adopted.
