He has a small scar on his right arm from a curse that hit him while fighting in the wizarding wars. Despite his fighting past he is relatively unmarked sparred by the wonders magical healing can do.

Jacob has set his life to finding the perfect guy so yes he is gay and is comfortable with it. While he was a child he saw the death of his sister which has kinda desensitized him to death. CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: At age 2 was his first memory, it wasn't anything special just a dream of bats entering his room. at age 7 he visited New York with his mother and spent a whole day in central park with her. At age 8 his parents started to show signs of unrest in their relation ship. At age 10 his parents separated. at age 11 his parents got back together.
Hogwarts Years: Hogwarts was great for him it was a place he could be himself. He spent his first year a nervous lost mess mostly due to the fact he could never find his classes. Second year his sister joined hogwarts he joined a group of friends which included his sister. Third-fifth year was uneventful. 6th year he met his first love which ended like most first loves due. This was when he first got introduced to alcohol and drugs thanks to his friends. Near the end of his 6th year his sister was killed in a quidditch game when she collided at full speed with the goal stand. 7th year he cleaned up his life a bit yes he still did drugs and alcohol just not as much as before. (At least 1 paragraph of your characters history during their stay at Hogwarts.)
Adulthood: After hogwarts he and his friends split up Jacob moved to London where he spent his life with a easy going job. He made new friends and spent his life distracted partying and clubbing. When voldemort started yet another war on the wizarding world he was hired on as security for a wealthy wizarding family who felt they would be a target due to their political ties. He left when the family suggested they move to Russia and live as circus folk. He moved back to his apartment in London where he did his best to appose voldemort when ever possible.
