GENERAL APPEARANCE:Tish has a rather exotic look about her. She likes the exotic. She likes change. She only wears the school uniform if she can't get out of it, but she always puts her own spin on it, much to the chagrin of her family and her professors. Tish's exotic appearance can make her look rather intimidating, even though she doesn't normally try to be. She is aware of it, though, and finds that in dealing with Dark Arts followers it can, at times, be a handy weapon for her.

She is not good at the spell to make her bed. She has tried, but it doesn't work. And she can't leave her room in the morning without making her bed.

PERSONALITY: Tish has a very vulnerable side, and she protects it by being outwardly strong, outwardly as fearless as she can show. She is impatient at times, and she isn't good at the little details. She's at her best in a true crisis. She gets irked quickly with little things, and it sometimes gets her into trouble. She is artistic, creative, sensitive, and she'd like to have the patience to have some sort of artistic craft--like drawing or painting, but, although she appreciates when other people put in the tiny details and always notices when they do, she can't seem to do that for herself. She gets bored with it and walks away from it.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Tish was an only child, although she was blessed with having a close relationship with her parents and grandparents. Her family had "old money" and Tish was given practically anything she wanted. Her grandparents on her father's side were middle class, while her mother's family had more wealth than Tish had any concept of. The balance of the two lifestyles kept her grounded and from being overly spoiled. Her mother's parents still live in Paris, and she likes to go there on holidays and school breaks. Tish doesn't really consider much of any place home except her grandparents in Paris simply because her best memories are there. Her parents have several homes, and they travel a great deal. She is not as close to them since beginning at Hogwarts simply because they are enjoying an early retirement, and she is busy starting a life of her own.
Hogwarts Years: Tish wanted to go to Beauxbatons but her parents told her that Hogwarts was tradition and told her she had to maintain tradition. Tish couldn't care less about tradition and she went to Hogwarts, initially heartbroken because she couldn't go to school in France. However, she has adapted and she has made friends there. She excels in DADA class and does well with transfigurations. The latter seems to come naturally to her, and she cannot honestly claim that she has truly paid much attention in Transfiguration class. She often fiddles with various transfigurations when she is alone, and figures she might have to get on the Transfigurations professor's good side because occasionally some of her transfigurations do go wrong.
It was on a break from school, when she was in Paris one summer when she encountered an ugly scene in a Paris park. A wizard was being hunted by a dementor. Tish watched the man, hopelessly trying to run from the dementor. The man stumbled over a tree root in the darkened park and the dementor descended upon him and removed his soul. It mortified her, She has never talked about what she saw. She went home and hid in her room in her grandparents house. It took them, in their preoccupation, two days to notice she hadn't come out. Even when they did notice, they were oblivious to the fact that there was anything wrong. They proceeded as if life was normal, and so Tish has never talked about what she saw or what she felt.
