What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Dear members,

I won't waste time beating around the bush. To be perfectly honest, we haven't made any drastic changes whatsoever during this update. The reasons for this are that during the update two of the Admins, Jess and Jemma, were unable to come online. Due to this, we were not able to make any major changes (namely, the plot and the theme.) That’s not to say we have done nothing during these past few days.

  • The Canon list has once again been changed. It is now far longer than the previous one and includes all HP canons.

  • The Tier system has been changed a little bit. For those who don't know about the Tier system, read about it at Educational Decrees. During the update we edited all of the graduates Tiers. If you are unhappy with your tier level, contact Khaat Lupin or Jess Potter.

  • Several lists in the Educational Decrees, Claims and Job Enlistment areas, have been updated. These include the full character list and the magical abilities thread. We have made several changes to how characters get magical abilities.

  • Notice that you have a PM in your message inbox that you have to respond to. This is both an activity check and a way to add your characters important information in his/her profile. Teachers have also been PMed a short guide on how to award house points effectively.

  • Besides that, all the groups have been updated and cleared of inactive members and threads more than 3 months old have been sent to the pensieve. There has been a few layout changes as well, though nothing major.


Note that as soon as we can contact the other two Admins, we will do the other major changes. Don't worry! We won't have another update; these changes will be implemented gradually over the next three days.

The new plot promises to be interesting and will hopefully involve all the characters of Potters Army. Meanwhile, the new theme is a much lighter one then the theme we have currently. The new theme will match the Christmas and winter season much better Smile.

I'd like to apologize to all of you for the long update, and thanks a lot for the patience you've showed.
