General Appearance: With a mother of 5’5 and a father of 6’0, Adelyn was always rather average in size, though leaning more to the petite side. Now becoming an adult, she has grown into her current frame of 5'4 and 115 lbs. Over the past two years, age has allowed her body to develop into more of an hourglass shape, much like her mother’s. She has a slender body, inherited from her father, with a narrow waist and long legs (for her height). She has smooth skin of a fair, creamy colour, though it can turn several tints darker in the summer. She has long, silky dark brown hair reaching usually to her upper rib cage. Adelyn takes great pride in her hair, spending at least an hour each morning to style it, and never styling it the same way twice in one week. Typical of both Notts and Parkinsons, Adelyn carries sharp facial features. However, unlike her parents' brown ones, her large eyes are a striking pale green colour, lined with lush black eyelashes. She has full pouty lips and a prominent chin, set in a square-shaped face.
And of course, what would a wealthy Pureblood witch wear but the finest of clothing? With shopping as her favourite hobby, the Slytherin wears only the richest materials and most elaborate designs. Her dress is sleek and sophisticated, often with a vintage or foreign touch. She spends a great majority of her time looking for one-of-a-kind pieces in expensive boutiques in other counties, especially France and Italy. And Adelyn will never deny herself a pair of stilettos, as she owns a pair for every day of the year… even if all she’s doing is lounging around the Nott Estate.

General Personality: A fiery Leo, Adelyn is a spoiled brat, quite honestly. For fourteen years, her parents have pampered her with some of the finest things in life and have provided for her everything she could ever possibly need. Most of the time, she comes across as cold, calculated, and stuck-up. She has a strong tendency to act indifferently and ignore most people. A typical Slytherin, Adelyn is known for going out of her way to harass and annoy others. She enjoys studying people and learning what makes them tick, what bothers them the most. And should you cross her path once she has learned what really gets to you, you ought to run. Adelyn does not waste her time on those she deems unworthy, which usually includes anyone of a non-wealthy or non-powerful status. As the "Slytherin Princess", Adelyn is rather vain and shallow, especially as her beauty grows with her age; she wouldn't be caught dead with a hair out of place or a man any less than highly attractive taking her arm. She knows she is beautiful and powerful, and she will use it to her advantage. She expects boys and girls alike to drop and kiss her feet. Adelyn knows what she wants and will do whatever it takes to get it.
Despite her harsh characteristics, Adelyn makes a fiercely honest and loyal best friend. She will be there for her true friends no matter what, whether it be a heartbreak or a duel against a Gryffindork or an O on an O.W.L. Adelyn truly enjoys the company of others; she would much rather be surrounded in a crowd than alone any time. Beyond anything else, she loves making friends and cutting up & letting loose with those of whom she trusts most. Despite all her efforts to appear intangible and unattainable to outsiders, this actually leaves her one of the most vulnerable members among her peers. However, Adelyn was raised to be weary of others, to trust few and confide in even fewer. She has learned to put protecting herself as her first priority, because in the end she believes you are only responsible for yourself. And if you break her trust, watch out. She holds grudges and she
will seek a vengeance.

Had you asked anyone from 1994 to 1997 which Hogwarts couple was most likely to wind up married, the answer easily would have been Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson. However, unbeknownst to most, the Slytherin Royalty’s relationship hit a dangerously rocky patch the instant Draco was given a mission by the Dark Lord during the summer before their sixth year. Communication between the two began to fail. As Draco was sworn to secrecy and spent all his time preparing for his mission, Pansy was soon alone and in the dark. For nine months, Pansy could do nothing but sit back and worriedly watch Draco isolate himself. All the while, they continued to maintain their image as the perfect Pureblood couple.
After Sixth Year was over and Draco’s mission was completed, things were once again looking up for the two. Lucius Malfoy had been released from Azkaban, Pansy finally knew that Draco had been stamped with the dark mark, and Draco was no longer under a time restraint to carry out an order for the Dark Lord. Pansy and Draco had more time for each other and fewer secrets between them.
Since her first breath, Pansy knew that she was born to carry on the Parkinson line of blood purity. Through her Hogwarts years Pansy strived to make her family proud. She was going to not only marry into a pureblood family, but the purest of the pure; she
was going to be Mrs Draco Malfoy. And within only a few mere hours, Pansy’s seven years of hard work was destroyed.
May 2, 1998. The Battle of Hogwarts. The day that changed everything. The day that Pansy Parkinson’s life flipped upside down. The day that was the end of Draco and Pansy. After that night, Pansy didn’t see or hear from Draco again. She tried desperately for months to contact him, each time finding herself unsuccessful. She eventually gave up. A short while later, she received a letter announcing the engagement of Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass. Pansy and her family still clung to the pureblood superiority and the best of the available candidates was not off the market. As she mourned, her family scrambled frantically to find her a replacement husband of equally noble blood. A marriage between herself and Theodore Nott was quickly arranged.
Childhood: On July 25, 2008, Adelyn Rhae was born the eldest child of the Nott family. Adelyn was raised in West Sussex, a quiet county known for its stately homes- an ideal location for her family’s lifestyle. Adelyn was a happy baby, and though she didn't cry often, she could throw a raging temper tantrum. At only a few years old, her strong desire for attention was already evident.
During her pre-Hogwarts years, Adelyn’s parents home-schooled her. They taught her the basics of magic, insuring that she got ahead in her first year. As expected of her family, she showed great signs of magical ability very early, starting at the age of 3. When it came time for Adelyn to attend Hogwarts, it was no surprise that she was sorted into Slytherin, like the many generations of Parkinsons and Notts before her.
Hogwarts: That day finally came when Adelyn was on her own and headed for Hogwarts. She immediately began working hard to make a name for herself, like her mother had told her she should. Nott was a noble name, one that she most definitely had to live up to. She quickly associated herself with students of elite families in Slytherin, attempting especially to befriend Scorpius Malfoy- again as her mother had insisted. Pansy could not help but romanticize the idea of a Parkinson marrying into the Malfoy family. After all, she still had a younger son to carry on the Nott name.
Within just months at Hogwarts, Adelyn had already developed (or more like inherited) her mother’s old, prominent title- “The Slytherin Princess”- which she was referred to almost more often than her given name. She walked the halls like she ruled them, roamed the castle like owned it. And through her years, things didn’t change much. Adelyn continued to uphold her smug, cheeky manor. Now in her fourth year and stuck between pursuing her dream to become a famous shoe designer, following her father’s footsteps in the Ministry of Magic, and simply living the life of a lady of leisure, Adelyn is still undecided.
Short Roleplay: Eh, just a short snippet from one of my favorite threads on an rpg site where I play Pansy. A Gryffindor won a blind date with her, during which he forced her to be his guinea pig for an experiment of questionable perfumes.
This was possibly the absolute worst day of Pansy Parkinson's fifteen years of life. Maybe even the worst until the day she died. Hell, she could die right here, right now, right in this very spot. When the Slytherin prefects had asked Pansy to sign up, she agreed because it was a great way to to show her Slytherin school spirit, and there was no telling how it would turn out. "Of course I'll put my name in. I mean, who wouldn't want to win a date with the Slytherin Princess?" she had laughed egotistically. Well, she sure as hell didn't expect it to turn out like this. Now here she was.... arms crossed, brow furrowed, and pout protruding as she sat across the table in Three Brooksticks on a date with a Second Year Gryffindork. On the table he had placed a piece of paper and three bottles of Merlin knows what in front of him. She eyed them cautiously, then turned her head to stare out the window and mumble grumpily to herself. Her cheeks were flushed red with anger and embarrassment. How could this... this child have so easily turned her into a laughing stock? And why had he chosen her? Why Pansy? Why not someone else? And more importantly, why hadn't her Drakie poo gotten her out of it? Had Draco even bid on her at all? He probably hadn't, the stupid twat.
