What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Heya all.
It wont be for awhile, so don't worry about that. However, i want to start planning the next update. So, while we have a few little ideas floating about, we'd like to hear your ideas.

So, this isn't a discussion topic, so to say, it's more of a "Just post your idea, we'll look at it for you" sort of thing, don't post commenting on other people's ideas, because ideas are hard to find in the topics if you have a massive argument about it...

So, these ideas can be anything from Forums we should add to Plot ideas, and everything will be read and considered.

- A forum for thread trackers in the "character extras" section.
- A plot focusing on not only the canons. (Sure the canons have things to do, but what about the rest of us? Try mixing it up a bit, it may sound a bit dangerous to mess around with the plot like that, but it makes it more interesting. Perhaps putting the next DE vs. Ministry thing on hold to start up some plot about the Muggles attacking the Magic- or W/E! -would be a good idea.)
- I think the character request forum should be moved to the “RP request" section.
- Offices for Aurors and other Ministry workers should be added in one way or another to the Ministry.

-Update the vampire and werewolf system honestly theres not much to keep us interested my suggestion is a separate vampire and werewolf hierarchy.
- Definitely focus on non-canon plots its kinda boring to just have the order attack the DE's or the De's attack the order. Where are the world events that impact us?

This isn't a double post, cos I'm using a different character.

+ make the OOC sections inaccessible to non-members. Or maybe just the general chat area.
+ Update the rules & info posts. Make them clearer and put stuff that's similar in one post.
+ Don't close the site to update. A lot of this stuff can be done while the board's still online.

Here I go...

-- A bigger and better canon list - ours is really thin on the ground.
-- Subplots assigned to canons with spaces left for other characters - not everyone wants to be a part of the big plot so why not assign subplots?
-- Bring back the Astronomy Tower - I miss it. Razz
-- Make claims section tidier - for example, delete Jane Doe's request to have Lady Gaga as her playby once it has been added to the list.
-- Get in order who is what and give them something to do - we supposedly have all of these vampires running around and we can't have anymore so why aren't they doing anything?
-- Can we have Quidditch teams that have nothing to do with the school? Not only would that generate more jobs but it would also give the grads something to do for fun.
-- Subforums for characters in 'Personal Houses' - it would add another claim but it wouldn't take as long to find someone's thread if it is within their own personal bit.

  • If there is someone, like the Imperium Squad for example, that has control over Hogwarts, give them permissions to add or remove threads that are old or outdated in Hogwarts.
  • A subplot for just Hogwarts. Like a student has gone missing and no one knows what to do about it.
  • A system to where training and practicing actually affect the Tier List
  • A weather and degree system, so that way people actually RP better in the environment.
  • A new list of abilities, i.e. resistance to Imperio, good with animals, leader capibilities.
  • Subplots for different types of jobs, like the Aurors have to find a serial killer and also stop whatever is happening in the Main plot.
  • Claims for Personal Houses, so that way they can check to see if they really can afford the biggest house in the world.
  • Professional Quidditch Players.
  • Make a list of spells that have Beginner, Advanced, Challenging or something for students.

It would be nice to keep a record of what grade each character is in to more easily check which characters would know each other.
