Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Time to Spare Empty Time to Spare

Post by Helena Villar Wed Dec 01, 2010 8:04 pm

Helena was sitting out on a bench, her overcoat draping her body like a blanket. The cold winter of December was just arriving as the stirred winds and scattered flurries of snow began to gather. It was nearing noon, and the town was packed with students that were heading for hot chocolate and sweets. Helena would have been one of those kids... but she couldn't handle the overwhelming crowds. She would rather sit alone, or somewhere where it wasn't so cramped. She didn't have many friends anymore, anyways. She outcasted herself, afraid that she might spill anything.

The chillness of the air was beginning to nip at Helena's face as it began to glow a soft red, her entire face flushing. She kept her hands deep in her coat pockets, her green and silver slytherin scarf covering most of her neck and her chin slightly. She had no hat on, but her dark hair covered most of her face. She watched as a group of Slytherin had walked by; some looked at her as they passed. Some of them gave nasty looks as they walked away. She narrowed her eyes at them for a long moment before ignoring them. They meant nothing to her anymore; they were only friends from the past that ended up causing problems.

Time was passing quickly, and Helena was beginning to grow impatient with the rest of the day. She had nothing to do, no one to go to, and no one to talk to. She could annoy her brother, Jude if she wanted, of find some of her younger siblings, but none of them were very fun or cool for that matter. She wanted the weekend to end already, so that she could get back to her classes and be occupied once again. She sat with a bored expression, watching the snow fall.
