What's life without a little danger? (Roof)

Keith stood on the small ledge on top of the Hogwarts Castle. He has always thought it odd that nobody ever came up here - sure it was slanted in some parts, but that was no problem, as it was never steep enough to pose any real threat, provided you were careful.

Besides, it was a great place to get away from the world.

Keith glanced behind him and grinned, taking off running up the mild slope towards higher ground. The run got more difficult as the roof steepened, but it didn't stop him, and he burst to the very tip of roof he was on with a wild laugh, hitting a baseball slide and skidding down the other side. Was it reckless? Yes. Was it stupid? Yes. Was it probably life threatening? No probably about it. But Keith did it anyway.

After all, what's life without a little danger?

Derek was nearby looking through the window at no particular direction. Looking around was only his way of thinking once his guitar wasn't at his hand. Family was always in his head though only his little sister was still in positive part of his thoughts. His father was dead and his mother stopped caring about her children a long time ago for no explenation.

His eyes went up for a second as he saw someone on the roof. At first he thought it was only in his head though when he looked again his eyes widely opened as he realized there was someone there. Heights were not his passion though he wasn't afreid of them. As he made sure no one was there in the hall he turned back.

His right leg got out throgh the opened window while he passed his left next to it. He started climbing up and didn't have much trouble since he was strong enough. He arrived at the edge not too far from the person he saw. It was a boy from his house apperently. "I must say this is the weirdest thing i have ever done.." he commented at his direction as he started walking.

Keith laughed as the new kid approached him. It was a boy from his house, maybe a year older than him, if he was remembering correctly. His name was Daniel. Or David. Or something along those lines. Keith couldn't really be bothered to remember.

"You need to get out more." He responded, skidding to a stop before popping back to his feet. "If this is the craziest thing you've ever seen. Last week I tried to enchant my guitar to fly and jumped off." He flashed the boy a grin. "It didn't work, of course. Luckily Headmaster Majere was there to catch me, or else I would've broken my legs. I'm gonna try it again once my detentions end. In about a month."

Derek looked at the familiar boy though they were only seing each other in passing position since one of them was always going up and other one down. From boy's look Derek could conclude he was a first year though to Derek himself people could give fair 15 years instead of his actual twelve. Was it Clavier or Nick.. he thought for himself skipping the thought.

"Well i spend alot of time outside, but never on the roof.." he commented as he was close enough to the boy now. Wind was blowing through his disorganized hair. "Majere? Oh right that's the weird dweed that teaches Alchemy. You have a guitar Clavier? I would never enchant mine like that." he said naming wrongly the boy though he still didn't remember the name.
