A Rivalry

The air was crisp and the sun was high, a great day to go shopping for Rebecca. Many dress shops had already been releasing new gowns for the ball in December, so she decided to browse around the store, though she probably wasn't going to buy her dress from an unknown designer like that one. She had to admit, the dresses were pretty nice, as well as the matching shoes, but she already had something in mind. Something that would make her stand out from everyone else, maybe something pink, it was, after all, her favorite color. That was already obvious.

Becca found a pretty blue gown with sparkles all over it and ruffles around the skirt. It reminded her of the gown Galinda wore in the musical "Wicked" that she loved, and decided to try it on. It looked good on her, but she didn't recognize the designer name, so she couldn't wear it in public. Maybe she would wear it in a wedding or something, it was only $900. She took it to the register and payed for it, leaving the dress there to pick it up when she was ready to leave.

Becca walked over to the shoe area and searched for pairs she liked, not seeing many. There was nothing else to do, but she didn't feel like lugging around her gown all day yet. So she kept looking.

The sun was high the sky as Sophia walked through the packed street of Diagon Alley, she waqsn't doing much of anything just doing alittle window shopping. Of course Sophia had money but some of the clothes here weren't buying. Sophia looked at the windows of the stores and noticed they had already put out ball gowns. Wondering if Hogwarts or the Ministry was throwing a ball she shrugged and went into the store and started browsing through dresses. After a few minutes of browsing through dresses she found one she absoulately fell in love with.

Deciding to go and try to on she put the dress in her arms and headed towards the dressing room to try on the beautiful dress. The dress was red with diamonds on it and a long train that went in the back with some more diamonds on it. As Sophia looked in the mirror she smiled at how good she looked in and felt this was the dress for her. As she stepped outside to look in the big three way mirror she spun around and smiled once more. Sophia knew that the Christmas ball was four months away but she wanted to get the perfect dress and she felt this one was it. Going back into her dressing room she changed out of hthe dress back into her normal clothing which was a pink and orange strapless dress with her black leather jacket over it with black high heels and her jet b lack hair down and curly.
