Igniting A Inferno Empty Igniting A Inferno

Post by Amelia Macmillan Mon Sep 17, 2012 10:28 pm

Claire knew she shouldn’t be wondering in the Forbidden Forest but she was just getting a few plant examples then she’d leave. She heard a twig snap and she jumped. She dropped her quill and flowers she had been holding and started to run. She jumped over logs and roots until she reached a clearing in the forest. Her last thought was of her mum and siblings. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. She felt something invade the flesh of her stomach and then her world went black. That last image that came to her mind was the image of her fifteen year old sister laughing. Her body collapsed onto a pool of blood, her notebook dropped onto her chest. A drawing of her older brother, little sister and brother blew open and rested on her chest now her older brother’s drawing splattered in blood.

Edgar starred out the window of the Shrieking Shack. He wondered where Amelia was. She sounded so distressed early today; personally it reminded him of a deer in headlights. He had told her to meet him here so they could talk in private. He looked out window and saw Amelia running down the street her wavy blond hair blew behind her. He turned around when he heard a sound coming up the stairs. Out of habit he started firing spells. He was barely aware of the spells being fired from both sides. He prayed that if he died that his girlfriend and unborn child would be okay without him, he knew his mum would care for the both of them. The last thing he heard was his little sister screaming his name. The bright green light lit up his vision. He hoped his family, unborn and alive, would be able to move on without him. He let out a chuckle; at least he went out with a bang like the first Edgar. “Hey Uncle Edgar, Auntie Amelia, I guess what I’m coming to join you earlier than we expected,” he chuckled.

Amelia had agreed to meet her seventeen year old brother, Edgar, in the Shrieking Shack to talk about the nightmares about Claire being brutally murdered, the dream of the Bones manor in Bristol going up into clams while the rhyme ‘Ring Around The Posey’ was being chanted, flashes of green light and waking up to the smell of smoke and other burning smells Amelia refused to identify. It was all wearing her down. She was turning into a basket case. It was getting worse to. She had a feeling something very bad was going to come down soon and that the fire was symbolizing the life she had now being destroyed.

On her way she suddenly stopped in the middle of the street and her body turned toward the Forbidden Forest. She felt her heart drop and her body went cold. Then she started to run toward the shack. She knew it was happening. She could just feel it. Her heart was no pounding as her feet hit the ground with each step. “Claire,” whimpered Amelia knowing it was no use. If her dreams from her astral projection were correct Claire was dead and if she didn’t hurry so would Edgar.

Amelia stumbled up the stairs of the Shrieking Shack at full speed. She reached the top and heard docile tones and burst into the room just in time to see the flash of green light. “EDGAR, NO!” She screamed on the top of her lungs. But it was too late. She heard his last words and tears freed themselves from her eyes. “I’ll take of them! I promise! They’ll pay for this!” she sobbed throwing herself over her brother’s rigid lifeless body. “I love you. I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you!” she sobbed. “I WILL FIND YOU AND KILL YOU!” she yelled out. Her tear blurred version made it impossible for her to see her brother’s murder, all she could tell that it was female.

Igniting A Inferno Empty Re: Igniting A Inferno

Post by Rose Granger-Weasley Tue Sep 18, 2012 12:41 am

There was something about the running of blood that Alexis enjoyed. She wasn't exactly sure what it was that she enjoyed about it but she did. Alexis had a sudden thirst for blood that couldn't be quenched with anything more than what she thirsted for; blood. But it annoyed her that for once when she wanted to be in her wolf form, she couldn't be in it. Still that didn't mean that she couldn't have some kind of fun where there was bloodshed, did it?

A twisted smile had formed on her lips when she was in the Forbidden Forest. She knew that she wasn't supposed to even be near that place now that she was a graduate and not a student at Hogwarts anymore. But there was a clearing in the Forest that wasn't part of the school anymore and that was where she had been for a long period of time. Waiting for someone to innocently come to meet their death. Soon enough it had happened and a girl who was probably about sixteen came to the clearing. Alexis had felt her wand hand twitch and without much hesitation, she had appeared behind the girl and without even giving her much time to react Alexis said, "Sectumsemptra." sending the spell at the girl's stomach.

The smile seemed to become even more twisted as she saw the girl collapse and be surrounded by her own blood. She watched the slow rising and falling of her chest come to a stop and Alexis stepped forward, dipping her finger in the pool of blood, staring at the bloodied drawing of a boy that the girl had. She raised an eyebrow and quickly left the Forest, apparating to the Shrieking Shack. The place that she'd called sanctuary for all the seven years at Hogwarts when she didn't want to go to the Forest, which was more often than not.

She appeared in the top floor with a small barely audible pop and she began to go down the stairs. There were sudden spells being sent at her and though at first she was caught off guard, Alexis quickly retaliated with a few spells of her own. Most of the spells that were sent at her weren't very effective though because though it wasn't shown much in school, she was very good at defensive and offensive magic, though it was mostly defensive that she used. The brunette girl felt like she'd dragged the back and forth of spells out long enough and she decided to end it all. Her eyes seemed to darken as she pointed her wand at the boy before her, the one she vaguely recognized from the other girl's drawing, and she said, "Avada Kadavra." with a smooth and cold voice.

Just as the green light left her wand, another girl entered the Shrieking Shack and began to scream her lungs out calling the boy's name and saying something about killing her. Alexis smirked at the girl, her eyes cold and emotionless and she said, "Good luck." in a taunting voice, before she laughed coldly and walked out of the run down shack.

Amelia sobbed until she couldn’t cry anymore. She should have run faster, put things together faster, or she should have told someone weeks ago. Now Edgar was dead and probably Claire too. She hadn’t even seen the murder. She was surprised the killer hadn’t killed her too. She swore to make sure she hunted the person down and kill them no matter how long it took. No one would get away with killing her family. She now understood her Auntie Amelia.

“I get it now Auntie! I understand why you spent your whole life prisoning Death Eaters! I’m going to keep your plan going! I swear on my life!” Amelia yelled out to no one. She wasn’t sure but maybe she was going insane. Maybe she was already insane. She knew one thing, she was certain she’d spend her whole life fighting Death Eaters even after the murder of Edgar was dead.

She focused on every detail she could about the last moments. All she knew was that the attacker was female. Then everything in her body began to awake. The voice sounded familiar, whoever it was either in Hogwarts or a Hogwarts graduate. Unluckily there were so many. But she knew she’d never forget that voice until the day she died.

She ran down the stairs and outside of the shack. “SOMEONE HELP! THERE’S BEEN ATTACK!” she screamed. “HELP!” her voice boomed out. She was filled with grief, sorrow and anger. It was taking all her might not to try to track the killer, but that would be suicide. She could hope help would arrive and believe she'd find the killer and avenge Edgar's death in a much more gruesome and torturous death.

Yukio was busy working a private case at the moment, a civil dispute between a wife and husband. It was a dirty job, but it needed to be done and he was done with the recording. When the sound of screaming was heard through the forest he was in, and he pulled out his wand. Rushing into action of what might have happened, the words were clear a attack had occurred.

Lucky for him, his training as a Aurora was done, and he was fully trained for this sort of conflict. Even if he was trained through the Japanese system of Magical law, which didn't compare to the English magical laws. If push come to shove, he would resort to physical handling the subject, but whatever. He reached the shrieking shack with his wand pointed at a girl. " Whats wrong, are you okay!? " He made sure that he was ready to counter, just in case this was the attacker.

Amelia glared at the man pointing a wand at her. She wasn’t a killer. She was fifteen years old. “FINE! HOW CAN I BE BLOODY FINE WHEN I’m SCREAMING FOR HELP! I WOULDN’T BE SCREAMING IF I WAS FINE!” boomed Amelia but having enough sense not to raise her own wand, it would be suicide. “It doesn’t matter, she’s long gone. She got away. You can go upstairs in the room on top of the stairs to the left not that you can do anything. He’s dead. I saw her kill him,” she sobbed sitting down on the ground like a two year old. Then out of nowhere she started to rock back and forth trying to calm herself. She wondered if she had lost her mind or if it was a normal reaction to seeing someone murdered. She hoped her mum could keep her out of St. Mungo’s to be a permanent ward.

The green light, Edgar’s body falling, the murder’s voice, it was all like a horrible nightmare but this time Amelia wouldn’t wake up. Her nightmares were coming to life. She was living her Boggart. She was slipping in and out of reality. Then the vision of Claire’s bloody body in the dream hit her like a ton of bricks. “CLAIRE! CLAIRE!” she screamed. She had a feeling that Claire wasn’t ever going to be coming, something told he Claire was dead too. “Claire,” she whimpered. “I’m sorry mum, I should have told you. I thought it was nothing,” sobbed Amelia now starting to get delusional, she thought her mum was right next to the strange man but she wasn’t.

( SO SORRY, School has been holding me up )

Yukio would still have his wand aimed at her, as she seemed to be having a moment. He knew because his Cousin was the same way, when he was younger and loss his father in front of his eyes. Thinking of what to do, he just did his best and moved forward slowly with his wand on her just encase. When the words, or more like plea for this Claire had risen from her mouth in a scream. He stopped in his tracks, but he needed to help her at any cost. It seems that she was going differently, or might just attack him. Would she, it would be a very interesting day. " Miss....please stay calm, let me help you before it's too late. Just focus on my words and that's all "

It took everything Amelia had not to laugh at the man when he told her to stay calm. She wasn’t going to stay calm. She just saw her brother be murdered only moments ago. She was able to manage to get back some sanity to realize her mother wasn’t there. She started to fight back the crying fighting for power of herself in her head. She wasn’t going to turn into a pathetic unstable hysterical girl. She wasn’t born to give up.

“Send a patronus to Susan Bones or just the Order of the Phoenix,” she said in a faint wispy voice. She wanted her mother. She also for some reason wanted her father though he hadn’t seen her in months. For once she was acting like a scared fifteen year old girl.

...Yukio was not familiar with this order in England, so he decided to help her himself. But she seemed to be on the verge of crying, the earth around him told him about her feelings. But he could not know, what has happened other then there was a killer on the lose. He did the only thing he could, and try to make her reach her breaking point, why? because it was much easier to build up from there. Knowing full well that he was going to have to be a ass, it was going to be a bad day. Walking closer to her with his wand aiming at her, just to see what would she do. " Tell me what happened from the beginning, first "

“I knew this was going to happen months ago. I saw it in a dream. I have astral projection so sometimes I get visions of what I experienced away from my body. I didn’t think it would be so soon. It seemed so far into the future. I was going to talk to brother, Edgar, here in the Shrieking Shack. When I got here I could hear a duel in the shack so I ran up there. I had just gotten to him when whomever she was killed him,” said Amelia refusing to cry and trying not to rock back and forth.

This was all such a nightmare to her. Why hadn’t she acted on this earlier? It’s her fault. She should have told her mother that she had started to get more of a time frame. Like the lunar cycle started to show up as did the sun position, she had really screwed up and it costed her family.
