A Simple Girl

Friday 4th April Friday, In My Room:

I don’t know if it will work or not but still I’m going to try. My best friend (Nynah) bought me this journal to write my feelings in it. She says I’m shy and so I should like to write a journal. I didn’t really understand the link between shy people and journal, but still I accepted this gift from her and denied the fact that I’m shy. (Oh come on who am I kidding!).

I like spring for one reason that my exams end at this time and second because it’s neither too hot nor too cold. And there’s a lot less pollution because people usually go on a trip to some place and so there’s less vehicle around and that results to less pollution. I don’t know that my obsession over Environmental Pollution is good or bad. Sometimes people (with brains, like Mom) get convinced and stop doing the thing or littering that I don’t like, and more often people (with no brains, like Nynah) say “Sue, life’s very small and enjoy it till you can!” which she almost says every time I’m angry or sad, and it drives me crazy and I shout back, “What if the world ends before I complete my life?? And it will be your fault because you’re polluting it!” and Nynah tries to digest my words for a time and then says, “You’re a worried kid.” With an innocent expression on her face that doesn’t make any sense!

She is totally different from me; she’s got reddish black hair and light brown eyes, and an athletic kind of body. And I have got straight dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and I’m slim but not athletic. We’re almost the same height. The thing different is our attitude, she’s quite hot-tempered and I’m calm, but some times I really get mad and start freaking out.

And there’s also a LITTLE fact that makes us different, that she had maybe dated more than fifty boys, and I have never been on a date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not for this fact that I don’t look good, I look kind of not that ugly and OK, and I’m not a freak too. But I’m shy, whenever someone asks me out I kind of get all nervous and stare at them and then stammer out either; “I’m s-s-sorry but I’m b-b-busy this weekend…” or “I d-d-don’t date.”. That makes it, I do date! I mean I’ve never dated, and all but I do want to date, I freak out every time (rarely) someone asks me out.

Well, that’s pretty about me. I hate myself. Totally.

OOPS. Mom’s calling for dinner. Gotta go.

Still Friday, Later in Night, In My Room,

I AM THRILLED! I just don’t believe what happened 10 minutes ago! So here was what happened, I had finished dinner, so I decided to login in IM to check my mail, when someone instant messaged me:

Hey Sue! Whassup? I was, uh, just checking my mail when I found you are online, so, um, I though I’d just talk to you.

Oh. My God. This was Jake Taylor from my school, he’s a SENIOR and the most handsome boy in the school!!!! And he wants to ‘just talk to’ me!!!!! I mean, something’s wrong, because I’m not the prettiest girl in my school. I’m just simple, and I’m not even that popular and nor am I a cheerleader. Still, sometimes I’d noticed he smiles at me at lunch whenever we pass each other or whatsoever, but I always thought that he was smiling at Mariah (the cheerleader girl, who’s as always the horror of my life, always teasing me about everything! ) so I don’t bother to turn back and return his smile, but one or two day I think I did. And here’s what I wrote back after jumping off my chair and making Snowy (my totally white and very cute kitty) meow loudly.

Hey Jake! I was just finishing my Physics homework. What are you doing?

I was working on my Biology project. Man, it’s the most boring subject don’t you think?

I don’t know, I thought History was boring, and I have an allergy towards Bio.

Haha, that is funny, by the way what are you doing on Saturday night, I mean tomorrow?

I got so horrified at this part that my hands were almost trembling, he was probably NOT trying to ask me out. But what goes in thinking? I didn’t type all fast, to show him that I wasn’t awed.

I think I’m doing nothing, why?

Would you like to go to see the new science fiction movie out?

YIPPEE!!! He was asking me out!!!!

At least, I’m going out with a boy at last, and I am sure Mom will let me because she wants this too, after all I’m 14 now, and it is weird that I haven’t yet gone out, though I look good, they think it not I. That’s what the Cheerleaders and all my friends think.

I don’t think I yet recovered from the shock that Jake Taylor the most handsome boy in my school asked me out! I can’t wait to tell Nynah! But I guess I’ll have to wait till morning, because it’s already 11 and she is maybe sleeping.

Things to DO in the morning:

1. Get some kitty food for Snowy.
2. Find some good dresses, and if there aren’t then go to mall with Nynah and buy some new with the money saved for Global Wild Animal Peace (come on it won’t hurt them for a few bucks!)
3. Buy some make-up, the old ones will soon expire.
4. Get make-up and dating tips from Nynah.

Saturday, In the Mall, With Nynah.

So, yeah, I'm in the mall shopping for new cloths. No I'm not shopping right now, Nynah is doing that, and I'm waiting for her to finish, no, I'm neither waiting actually, she's in the second floor, and I'm in the first, in a corner, writing in my journal. Oh, I think I just saw Nynah's brother Ryan, yeah, she has a brother, and I have one too, and they're both in the lists of best looking boys, my brother's on the second actually, and girls totally are crazy for him. Thats why a lot of girls throw a smile and hi at me when I pass a corridor. My brother, David, is totally a lovebird, his love changes almost every week, that is, he gets a new gif and breaks up with the other in one week. Ain't he great? LOL. And me, his sister, never dated in her whole life. Still, he's a lot better than other brothers, he adores me, and I adore him, only when he's in the mood, and when he's not, we fight like other bros and sis. Still, the fight is very less between us, because he only stays at home for 10 hours, between them 8 hours of sleep. And Ryan and Nynah are too like us, because Ryan stays with my brother all the time. Ryan is really cute and handsome and very truthful. He once told me that Nynah's keeping a secret party for me, as he knew that I detested parties. And I didn't believe him and had to get embarrassed in front of all my class mates as I was wearing pyjamas. I was 8 then. So I decided to believe him from that on.

OOPS. Gotta stop writing he's coming he will make fun of me if he sees me writing in a Mall.

Oh, yeah, thank you, I'm not simple girl either. Did I tell that the story was about me? My brother and I can't spent a day without fighting, I'm not even the S of Shy and yeah I'm evil. But this is not about me. And yeah, I never dated Razz
